RIP Maurice White 1941-2016 in heaven. We never forget you song 'September' this song is so nostalgic and boogie woogie in 70s.make my Father and Me dance this song when celebrate a my college graduation,my mom and dad wedding celebrate party, and my birthday party🙂😍🥲.
I miss Maurice White. He had a voice that was so rich and smooth. Boy, do i miss Maurice as the voice of EW&F. But, Philip Bailey took the helm and is keeping the music alive! Thank you for keeping the music rich and beautiful. Rest in Peace, Maurice White. I have been a loyal fan for years. 🎤🎶🎸🎹🎺💗
The only band in this whole wide world that can make me forget about the Stones for a while. When it comes to making you feel really cool, when you're high just on being alive and watching or just listening to these guys; when it comes to their superb musicianship out of this world no one comes close to EWF. I'm a grizzly bear when it comes to dancing, but EWF's magic just won't let me stand still😂. First saw them in 1975 and that first fascination never let me. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This was the very best on the 70s, seeing Maurice dealing with Parkinson's is hard I really love his music, and this band. Verdine was my inspiration to play the bass.
In 1994 we had them here in Chicago. Teena Marie was also here. The best Concert I ever attended. Calm, beautiful music. 🎶 my little personal Woodstock 😆
The guitar chords on this version of September... so beautiful! Close your eyes and tell me you’re not on a hot sunny beach in the summer! This song embodies the word WARM!
I felt in love with this man the minute I read his story how he became the person and greatest singer ❤️🎶🎵 I can't stop hearing his songs and yes I give a lot of credit and respect to all the people in his band just like the back up singers may he rest in peace 🙏🙏❤️🎶🎵🎼😊
7:24 September 11:15 Boogie Wonderland 0:38 All In The Way 4:15 Interview with Earth, Wind & Fire (Maurice White, Verdine White, Philip Bailey, Ralph Johnson)
I didn't know EWF recorded the first song in the set. I've heard that song on a local radio station recently but it was from another artist/group. I'm just realizing that was a cover...this is amazing to me
Hoje saudades desse tempo bom mais que danço com muitas alegrias na minha casa porque tudo que é bom durou pouco lá fora aqui continua com essas postagens lindassss
I am talking as a member of Gen z, we are unlucky because we were not adult or teenagers while this good times still alive. We catch up the ending of the world.
maybe it's just me, but it seems that Ralph is constantly giving Verdine dirty looks, you know those side glances,? It just seems he doesn't like them that's all.
Its June 28,2023. EWF is in concert near me in Cincinnati Ohio tonight. Wish I could be there. Unfortunately im 14 yrs in a wheelchair. 70 yrs old. Am able to go but RIVERBEND VENUE HAS VERY FEW ADA SEATS. PEOPLE WHO WANT DESPERATELY TO SEE THE BANDS IN THIS TIME PERIOD ARE AGING AND NOBODYS CARES!! That is very sad. There are people who r younger who love these band but those of us who listened to them as young people need wheelchairing space. The 3 remaining members of EWF are 72 yrs old!!! So look at it from my point of view. The fans of the 1970's are not young anymore. PLEASE AMERICA DONT KEEP LIMITING US FROM GOING OUT and having a good time even in a chair. When venues book these 70's bands PLEASE arrange seating with room for those of us in chairs❤❤❤❤
I'm sry I got off track. So pls accept my apology. I agree with all of u who love EWF. I have lived them since I first heard them in the 70'S. I had the gift of seeing them and The Isley Brothers in Indianapolis when I was 23. What a show! Everyone was having a great time dancing singing having so much fun. I couldnt count all the instruments actually being played. Unlike today with all on one instrument. Best music ever!
FYI... This group has not and will not go away!!! Phillip Bailey took over the vocals and is a foundational member who has two distinct singing styles and covers for "Maurice" quite well!!!
He had Parkinson's disease diagnosed in the mid 80s and due this condition stopped touring in 1994. He just couldnt sing as before anymore. However it was just so good to see him on stage
@@manolin.6597 exactly just because you slow down doesn't mean you don't have things to offer. I've got Fibromyalgia which is a pain but I can still shake my groove thing like I did in the 70's.
@@manolin.6597 At least he sings Shining Stars, Hold Me and All in the Way. But We'll never forget Maurice White the lead singer of EWF. ruclips.net/video/vXXY7QmoStk/видео.html
Parkinsons is a debilitating disease. I'm just so happy he could make an appearance. I could tell he was not feeling well and I was so happy to c him. RIP God Bless You❤

Also good to see and hear the late Robert Brookins (October 7, 1962 - April 15, 2009).
Maurice was an excellent musician. God bless him.
He was a graduate of the Chicago Conservatory of Music.
They are the originals, that's one of them, but they have good music, the most

Ralph Johnson is a great artist, excellent drummer and dancer, with a singular voice.
Nice to see Robert Brookins singing with EWF on September

that's true! But if you listen the studio version, you will hear the same chords that he did in that live.
Yes, that’s exactly what I imagined
Best band on God's green earth !

It is one of the best genre where places are as different in hollowed perspectives, where light is everyday, and so as the manifold of blessings.
The best band ever❤️❤️❤️🤩
Good Job Boogie Wonderland sounds good with Phillip and the entire performance is GOOD! LOVE YOU Guys
I saw the band back then in germany more specifically in hamburg i will never forget i am still a fan today

I miss Maurice White so much
Good to see Maurice up there enjoying himself.
But sadly he's not young anymore and tired to singing and dancing with member band 'Earth,Wind, and Fire.
@@royhetharia2816 hes done enough for a lifetime
He had Parkinson’s then - just glad he got to be on stage even if he couldn’t sing
It's weird ,We are nostalgic for people in 2003 being nostalgic for 70s
Surprised majority in the crowd don't know the lyrics to September. It's such an iconic song.
Maybe just a lot of the crowds from a different generation
I think it's just a staged crowd of random people who waited for 6 hours to get in the gate...
The ultimate feel good, energy inspiring music!!!!
My band! ron generation to generation, they have and will continue to be The worlds best band. Still doing it! Love them
September one of the greatest

Ralph Johnson should really lead more songs
It's ok he does sings Getaway during EWF's 90s Live

Too bad Maurice White did not sing September and Boogie Wonderland he just plays drums that's all I know.
Because is old of age and he can't sing and not have spirit to sing of song since he still young age 40 in 70s.until now his old age👨-👴

It’s September
Ok at first I thought the big guy singing wearing the black was BruceBruce...😩
Why was this very large man singing Maurice’s part?
Wanted to know too
Awesome video do you have the footage of them performing Hold Me?
+Nathan Baca
Sorry for the delay in response...but no, I don't have that footage, wish I did, I would have liked to have seen it myself.
I DON'T know who that was singing that classic, wish Maurice had done it! it was not the same.
Alguém sabe o nome do cantor que fez participação na canção “september”? 10:11
I adore Earth Wind & Fire. But this video is unwatchable. Claims to be 480p. More likely 120p.

Was that Hannah Storm introducing and asking EWF questions?
Yes, that was ESPN anchor & Notre Dame graduate Hannah Storm. In the early/mid 2000s she co-hosted the CBS morning show "The Early Show".
what are the names of the women dancers?
Betty and Wilma
@@1980Triumph grow up
@@smoothnubian - I'm sorry. Their names are actually Janet, LaToya and Rebbie
They also SING while they dance 😀
