The reason why some games run in Japanese and others do not is because Japanese is supported on the games that do, and they check for the system language upon startup to determine the language. wow... also did you NOT KNOW about GodMode9 it is THE ESSENTIAL TOOL for any CFW 3ds/2ds it does dumps and as well convert the dumps to cia or just directly dump to cia
GodMode9 is essential, however the speed at which it dumped/converted cia’s was far too slow and I read on several forums that this was taxing on the DS hardware. I was told this can result in corruption of the SD or the system and at the rate of games I was sending over, I was apprehensive to take that risk 😬
@@TheDavidish ya i agree with u. its pretty safe to use godmode9 for converting files format. or decrypt if u wish to use that file on pc or ur phone using citra emulator. or encrypt if u have a card like sky3ds. the only not safe thing about godmode9 is it allow u to access the system files and portions. which could damage ur device if u deleted some important files. even in that case u should already have a backup to ur 3ds system nand to restore the device to a working condition .

can 2DS even play playstation or arcade games like Metal Slug or MvC?? Also isnt there a limit to how many icons are on your menu? oh wow that bank is pretty neat, theres a few worthy japanese titles. I remember trying minecraft but it crashed on me when I booted it up ;/
This might be a dumb question but I’m considering homebrewing my 2ds and don’t know if I should get a bigger normal sd card for it or a micro sd card with an adapter or does it not matter?
In the case to cincumvert that limit it'd be better to split the catalogue between two 3DS (or 2DS since they're cheaper lol) than than using 3dsbank since it slows down the console a lot lol
100%, it would also actually be cheaper to have several smaller micro sd’s with games organized categorically with all of the necessary homebrew files to swap them almost like game cartridges. This method of shoving it all in one is truly the most inefficient way to play every game other than actually owning every physical copy 😂
@@Bulian you're quite right I actually used to do just exactly that but I had way small sd sizes and not much where to store them without them losing lol, so maybe buy a few 128 gb sd cards (make sure they come with the adapters) and store them in a cartridge wallet like the switch games haha

You could‘ve just downloaded the hstore on thr sd card and then on the ds. From their you can download any game from any region. Much easier and faster!
And for the slot limit on the menu: you could‘ve just put them in different folders, like all mario games in one folder, all kirby gamed in one folder etc. 🤦🏼♀️
wow... also did you NOT KNOW about GodMode9 it is THE ESSENTIAL TOOL for any CFW 3ds/2ds it does dumps and as well convert the dumps to cia or just directly dump to cia
GodMode9 is essential, however the speed at which it dumped/converted cia’s was far too slow and I read on several forums that this was taxing on the DS hardware. I was told this can result in corruption of the SD or the system and at the rate of games I was sending over, I was apprehensive to take that risk 😬
@@Bulian o well i only have used it for some many games at a time
@@Bulian Don’t think that’s true
@@TheDavidish ya i agree with u. its pretty safe to use godmode9 for converting files format. or decrypt if u wish to use that file on pc or ur phone using citra emulator. or encrypt if u have a card like sky3ds.
the only not safe thing about godmode9 is it allow u to access the system files and portions. which could damage ur device if u deleted some important files. even in that case u should already have a backup to ur 3ds system nand to restore the device to a working condition .
Backups of personally owned
Next second DOWNLOAD every backups 🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂
now download every gba nes and game boy game
So every game is on one home menu, or do you have to open other folders to get to the game you want?
did this also include the dlc for the games?
How much did buying every North American 3DS game cost you?
Unbelievably, they all fell off the back of a truck
Found them when walking down the street
Good question
he didn't,he pirated
@@matejamicic3037 no dude he found them in his house one night
I tried to do this but stopped at that 200 home screen limit
I do believe that you were able to, but how were you able to when the 3ds has a certain amount of icons you can put on the 3ds? Although there is FBI which can show all of the names of the 3ds games that's installed. Ah, ok. The 3ds bank by rocketrob. Yes, he did a huge amount of Wonder stuff for the 3ds.
ohh thats so cool, i have a question though i saw you have fire emblem, do also have the dlcs for those?
I have a Japanese 3ds xl that’s translated to English you would even know if it wasn’t for the writing on the back and it being called LL instead of XL
how much storage did it take?
Looks like, including homebrew files, 258Gb
@@Bulian dang thats alot
@@clipzy5032 that's very little for an entire library for a console
@@jamiemorgan3649 look at prices for micro sd cards 256 would be enough so you would have to go to like 500 so yea for a entire library of games not the best but its alot for a concile like that
@@Bulian Can you clarify, I'm assuming the 258Gb was on disk on your PC, after expanding out all the CIAs on the SD card, how much of the 128GB SD card ended up getting used?
Algorithms engagement blah blah. Love supporting small creators cause this stuff matters mostly sometimes
any idea where this mad lad got them
the 2ds is my fave handheld of all time
How did you install 3ds bank? When are you dropping the video?
By next month! Got backed up on footage and scripting over the holidays but I am working on a 3DS Bank vid due to the lack of tutorials out there for it :)
ya my whole Collection of Japanese 3DS games and Twilight ++ fits on a 512GB MicroSD A2 in my 2DS :)
Very late, but how did you get the other CIAs in the second folder on 3DS Bank? I have a 300 cap on my first folder and trying to put more, but unfortunately, I have no idea how to put my homebrew apps in the second folder..
yeah you shoulda flashed the na sysnand before getting waay in deep with the 400 games lol. Could still do it though and make an ultimate 2DS
Don't wanna be that guy, but isn't the hshop possible?
he could have downloaded a rom set with .cia files already to go, that bandwidth was wasted imo and there are still fresh locations to get the .cia for the games needed without using the horrible converting software
why you did not use the Hshop instead of converting all the 3ds to cia ?
you could have reduced the process to only put games that you will play often or are your preference instead of all of it, majority of those games you won't play anyways i have close to 200 games the last time i checked my new 3ds xl
1:35 I smell cap
U tried hsshop of homebrew and modded mario64 to run at 60 fps
can 2DS even play playstation or arcade games like Metal Slug or MvC?? Also isnt there a limit to how many icons are on your menu? oh wow that bank is pretty neat, theres a few worthy japanese titles. I remember trying minecraft but it crashed on me when I booted it up ;/
So, how long does it take to boot?
i would like to know that as well.
I will eventually add cfw to my 2DS so I can play 3DS game cards from other regions.
Competition 👿
anyone know the place to find all the backups i seem to have misplaced the 52 3ds i own and want them all back
This might be a dumb question but I’m considering homebrewing my 2ds and don’t know if I should get a bigger normal sd card for it or a micro sd card with an adapter or does it not matter?
im trying to do this on my own, what did you use to download every ds ame, is there a single .zip file is so can i have it, thxx
im having trouble not getting any CIA installs before games
cap, You did not have backups for the games, you just dont want to get suid.
Does it have the pinball hall of fame Williams collection?
as a second part you could get every emulation possible game
WHY DID HE CONVERT EVERY SINGLE GAME, JUST FIND THE CIA FLESSSSSS
1:35 yeah sure man 😭
In the case to cincumvert that limit it'd be better to split the catalogue between two 3DS (or 2DS since they're cheaper lol) than than using 3dsbank since it slows down the console a lot lol
@@luigiymario2xd I thought about doing this, possibly getting a label maker and making them really neat and organized, then I thought meh I’ll commit to the bit so here we are lol!
@@Bulian now I dare you to try something similar to this video but with all Japanese games! 😂
the problem if u using one of the " new 3ds's " u need to remove the back cover to access the sd card slot. which is no convenient for fast swap.
how do i transfer the games over on the other folder bc it doesn't have fbi on that folder?
Pokemon games on the 3ds are region free games (As far im aware), but i think the game decided to fuck with your language choice
The fact that you did this over WiFi 💀bro would’ve saved 3 days of his own life by plugging into his modem or router
Hey man I wanted to ask is it good to buy from lucky 8 I actually bought 3ds ll and I wanna know that I didn’t do dumb decision
I had a really good experience with lucky 8! I think it’s a safe bet. I plan on purchasing some more items from him for future videos actually
