The board has 2x USB C with Thunderbolt 5 I.e. 80 gbps as per the specs sheets. Did I get this wrong?

did i understand this correct, i can use 1 M.2 Gen5 SSD at top slot and 3 M.2 Gen 4 SSDs withour effecting the pcie lanes of the gpu = still running on x16?

I have no idea as it was covered in about half a second but this kind of thing is in my opinion THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO COVER in all these you tube videos as it is cruicial as to whether the board is useless or not. I'm personally skipping all AMD and Intel Gigabyte motherboards this generation as it's too confusing as to when they'll essentially break the main pcie slot, so I'm not taking any chances if I add a new nvme drive in a couple of years and then nerf the board by mistake.

Heya, I know this is kind of complicated and most people don't cover it. With this board to have 16 lanes on the GPU you can do the following:
Install up to Gen 5 drive on the main m.2 slot (connects to CPU)
Install up to Gen 4 drive on the M2B slot (connects to CPU)
Install two up to Gen 4 drives on the bottom two slots (M2P_SB and M2M_SB) these connect to the chipset.
On the other hand if you connect any drive to M2D port, the main PCIE slot will drop to x8.
I really recommend opening up any motherboard manufacturer manual and locate Motherboard block diagram. This has been happening with boards as long as I can remember. Generally speaking with most boards you have the same problem on a "general consumer" boards from AMD and Intel. You need to go up to Threadripper or Xeons to get more drives without sacrifices.

@@A2KMedia Thank you for taking the time to explain this. I did look over the online user manual for the Master Board and as long as you use the M2 A. Slot for the PCIe 5 SSD Card it will not reduce the GPU Lanes. However, with this board you are limited to just one PCIe 5 SSD M2 Drive as anymore will reduce the PCIe 5 GPU Slot down to just 8 lanes from 16. This Board looks pretty good to me and it's going to go into my build. I am also going to use the PCIe M2 A slot for my Gen PCIe 5 SSD Drive as my operating system drive. I can't wait to see how quickly the system boots up! Probably will be pretty insane! The drive I am using is the Team Group T-Force CARDEA Z540 M.2 2280 2TB PCIe Gen5x4 with NVMe 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) My Second Drive for gaming will be the 4TB Samson PCIe 4X4 Drive which is still plenty fast. I do wish that I could use more PCIe 5 Slots, but we are not quite there yet.
