The 16th note double bass beat ruins this genre of music for me. It just annoys the fuck out of me whenever it's happening. I like a lot of the rest of it, literally all of the rest of it. I won't even play with a drummer if they own a double bass pedal because I know it's likely that's the only thing they can do with it lol.
