Garry's Mod (GMod for short) is a Half-Life 2 construction mod created by Garry Newman in December 2004. It's a "sandbox" game, with no particular goal, where the player is free to create and manipulate any object, and to experiment with it in a variety of ways, making full use of the Source engine.
