i grew up a town over from tom (buffalo grove) and am relatively close, age-wise. i think tom's the most innovative guitarist since eddie van halen...but for some reason, guys didn't seem to copy tom, like they did with EVH. i always wondered why that was...i don't play guitar, however. a little surprised he's charging for this but that's certainly his prerogative. wouldn't think he needed the $180 that badly, tho.
