Its sad that since 2009 NO one has replaced them for the youth. Yes theres lots of great new ''the word eclectic' perfomers but its sad because the music industry now is full of bands in pain, every song is about someone leaving/cheating. Theres no anthems, no excitement, no-one saying what oasis did. rock n roll star etc albums now have a bands single then just a bunch of average songs with a typical lead vocal singing voice and nothing to get people in their teens excitement. OASIS b-sides are way better than most bands full albums. Liam gallagher sold out knebworth 2 years ago. They are the most inspirational band of my lifetime, look at their interviews too.
It’s the music industry - plenty of good bands out there. Oasis had a massive PR machine especially the Blur v Oasis hype. Granted definitely maybe & Morning glory were classic albums

@ not quite Oasis had better songs and albums Blur never lead a cultural revolution like Oasis did Oasis has like 5 good albums while blur only has 1 While blur had mostly forgettable songs Oasis had songs that was so memorable that they became part of your soul in the end Blur were more Middle Class while Oasis were more Working Class which made Oasis were more a self-made artist than Blur

Just finished reading the Oasis Supersonic documentary book. Obviously there were tons more in the book that never made the movie but it was a brilliant read. Idc what anybody says that band blew the doors off That Suede were tipped as doing and then Blur. Im not taking a dig at them as i loved the whole scene but none of them made there mark like Oasis have.
People want them to get together again. For what? Them singing their old songs? I don't think they can make new music that tops the old. It would sound like their old work with the 90s sound. Back then, they were young, did a lot of blow and it was just different times. My advice to you, the die-hard fans is to find your favourite CD, save the money, get drunk and sing along. At your home with closed doors and windows, thank you lol.
Noel has always been the clever one and still is. Liam can't debate with him. I love how Noel just trolls him while laughing. And those who think Liam is the smartest are just as dum* and immature.

Blur & Suede were good bands but very “English” whereas Oasis music definitely was more universal and so it’s been proven
