When I was a kid I didn't realize the reason why he screamed nooo and kicked the gun out of her hand was to save her. Not because he was her captor. If she picked a weapon the predator would have seen her as a combatant and hunt her.

The shot fired by the predator was the lowest of the low and would've still dismembered him like Dillion but he shot the gun instead (look closely at when he was shot the gun splits in half). Whether or not the Jungle Hunter intentionally shot the gun on purpose or not is still debated amongst fans.

I do remember that the cannon only takes few seconds to fully recharge. But the idea that it targeted the gum and Dutch's injury was blastback is very plausible.

Err you do realise that to slide off a cliff edge like that would mean he is carrying plenty of forward momentum like that? More than enough to carry him over the land beneath him and into the water? Its not perfect since it utilizes an incredible shot of a stuntman doing the fall into the water Im just happy to use my imagination.

I remember watching this as a little girl. I was hooked completely. Really couldn't take the 'tough guys' seriously but I couldn't look away. And once they showed the Predator fully, I was in love.👽

Hands down best movie ever, everything about it!! But in these days you couldn’t say 90% of what is said in this film. Especially the Helicopter scene!! Best scene too!
