best way to get the string out is to buy weedeater you dont need a mechanical degree in engineering to load string on , run from their weedeaters , but their other power products are incredible, weed blower, chainsaw,, always crank well,, but stay clear of the weedeaters!
ah, a perfect way to make a video, right to the point, no super long intro or explanation or how a life trip inspired you to do what you do, just simply a video showing exactly to the point and what to do, props man. Thanks. Signed, an angry echo weed eater owner.
After watching this video, I went from entry level laborer to master landscaper. I'm surprised they don't include a copy of this with every echo purchase
Same here. I have saved myself big $$$ by watching how to repair stuff in my house and yard tools. All the people on You Tube are great and very informative. I am ready to try a bigger remodeling job.
Lmao I wound it by hand and it popped off. I was so frustrated, hot and mad. So glad I learned this. I’m looking forward to mowing the yard this weekend now lol
Thank you so much! The people who sold it to me could not be bothered showing me how to use it. The manual was not much help. So grateful for people like you who take the time to film and post these videos. Thank you!
OMG this was on point ,I've been taking it off eventide it ran out, smh so much for reading my instructions and doing it my way. Thanks so much for the video, faster and easier...
The ones giving thumbs down 👎 should get that thumb and shove it right up there 💩 hole, this video was awesome and very informative 👏 thank you so much brutha 😊 luckily I have the same model
Thank you. Showing me how to properly string my Echo weed eater; I was doing it the wrong way; and when saw your video on how properly string the Echo. Simple and easy! Thank you!
Thank you so much!!! This video has helped me save so much time. You don’t even want to know how much time I wasted trying to load this! I can’t thank you enough!
Great video homeboy. I really do appreciate it. Help me out big time. I jumped right into it and started tearing the thing apart and then decided to watch the video and the first thing you said is you don’t have to take it apart. Thanks for the help.
Frankly, your instructions are clearer than the owner manual. The best tip I got is one you just mentioned in passing. When reloading line hold the cup and twist the collar at the top. The line doesn't fly around and get tangled like it does when you twist the cup. Thanks!
Thank you so much for the easy to follow instructions. My husband died last year and my boys are all away so I had to learn or pay someone. I chose to learn until I can no longer do it myself. You were truly a blessing to me today.
Well after not having to refill my trimmer for who knows how long. I couldn’t remember how to do it to save my life. You made that job a piece of cake! Thanks!!!
Thank you very much for your simple straight forward walkthrough. This means I can help my mom with her lawn now, she's gotten too old to do it and my father is no longer around. So really, thank you for taking the time to make this.
I got one as a house warming. I take whole head apart and wind by hand. Constantly jams and frustrates me. THIS IS A MILLION TIMES EASIER! Thank you so much.
I feel so stupid. I've had this trimmer for a year now and NEVER knew it had the speed feed. The only reason I found out was because I was looking into what speed feed fit my 225. Glad I found your video! Saved me 50 bucks probably!
Thank you for this video!! you saved me hours of frustration trying to wind the string on it's on own and then try to jam it back in the head. you are a life saver!! Best life hack i've seen in a few months!
After many rounds of frustration with my weed eater, I finally decided to search for some help. Found this video and I can't believe how terribly wrong I was trying to load the line. Great video! Precise and to the point!
Dude, much love to you for this! You made my life easier than I imagined! I’ve been left to my own devices at home as my hubby works so he didn’t have time to show me, thank you!
Dude, thank you so much. I’ve used old school weed eaters but when this one ran out o was a little perplexed. Thanks again. Straight forward and to the point.
I am typically a visual learner. Your video is good. A new video with a better view would be great. However whenever I need to restring I always watch this video. I’m a first time homeowner and have never owned a weed eater before. Thank you so much. I think I’ll keep it 😊
that was awesome! I had been so frustrated with trying to string mines. I said why can't they make this simple. welll.....when you don't know, you can't be mad at no one but yourself for not learning. thank you my friend, this is what social media should be for using.
I guess I should have read the manual first. I assumed this head loaded like every other head all this time! Thank you for this video as the way you demonstrated (the way the manual says to do it) is much easier than remembering if R or L is up or down during reassembly.
I have been using 210 SRM,s for 20 years. When I saw the new string head and loading method I freaked out and found one of the old ones in a pawn shop so I wouldn't have to deal with the new method. Yesterday the 210 died so now I have the 225. I also just switched from flip phone to Android. My face hits the screen of the android and activates the external speaker in mid conversation and I don't like it. I hope that's no the road I'm going down with the new 225. That being said, your vid was excellent, thanks man. I'll try not to let the side of my face touch the 225😁.
Thank you very much for a great video I was trying to find the same information on several sites and all these people do is talk talk talk and want to talk about their life situation I don’t care honestly it’s not the time for that. I came on to see how to replace the line and you sir got to the point and that’s what I enjoyed thank you for the great video God bless you and your family and friends ✝️✝️✝️
Thanks, made it easy. When bought my new trimmer I requested the “fix line” head that allow you to put in pre cut strands of cord. I’ve been doing this a long time and prefer those heads; no tangled/jammed line. The store rep said they didn’t carry them. I reluctantly got the bump feed head. Thanks for the video.
This is the same style head on the cheap hyper tough 26cc weedeaters at Walmart. My cousin bought one and threw instructions away. This video helped us too. New design being used by more than one manufacturer.
Yeah bro I was doing it the wrong way it was a lot more work and time consuming so your video saved me not only literally saved me hrs of work collectively but also saved the homeowner a fair amount of money so thanks man keep up the good work!!
Thank you, your officially Dad! In less than 5 minutes I understood exactly how. Only conflict was my ADHD and my old man ((PTSD is a real thing) (yelling at me from childhood 9-11)) speak English, and couldn't read it, so when we finally were able to afford one I was translating this to him from the instructions. He refused to follow the instructions and we would run thru the string or spend half days trying to figure it out
The most impressive part about this video was starting the Echo on the first pull 😅. Thanks for the tips too! I’ve been wiring this thing wrong the entire time.
I appreciate your tip. I have been manually winding the string onto the roll after taking off the cap, but this works so much better. I do wish my Echo was gas-powered too…lol…mine is battery-powered, but glad I learned this simpler way. Thank you!
Thanks for the vid I have one of those trimmers and for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to fill the string...been awhile since I had done it..pretty simple once you know how...LOL fixed me up for sure. Thanks again.
Thank you so much! Just got this trimmer a few months ago and had no idea how to reload the trimmer line. This video is perfect, short, to the point and even I can do this easily now
After getting pissed many times trying to add more string to my weed wacker and today slamming my weed wacker, I decide to look for an easier way. Boy was I doing it the hardest way possible before.... Thanks for the tip.... 😂
Wondering how to get the string out after it wears down during operation? Check out this quick video! ruclips.net/video/rdGMQ0Fdna4/видео.html

thx. always very helpful
Didn’t work. Wtf
I've tried it 5 times ...
Clockwise and counterclockwise...
String keeps going back into the weed eater...
They look like somebody that damn liar.
Holy crap! I was about to open a beer and prepare for a big fight!! Too easy!
*still gonna open a beer...
I can't figure it out maybe I shouldn't have drank before I did this

That's cause a woman didn't do the video. They talk forever (just like in real life 😒) & then only partly quickly show you what to do.
Agreed!

All day
Me and for some reason I did it like he say and gues what . All the string came out mine is backwards to the left 😮

That was the best explanation of changing string on this type weed wacker in the history of mankind!
Haha many thanks John!
