  • At $3.86 for a thin pizza like this, most of the standard frozen pizzas I have reviewed so far are cheaper per calorie, even if the overall cost for one pizza is higher. Sorry Chad, thank you for the review, but in my opinion this pizza is only a little bit better than Totino's which is still my lowest ranked in taste and apparently quality of ingredients. I do like that it comes on the cardboard the way Tombstone USED to do, takes up less freezer and trash space. The crust is also good enough to eat the edges as well. However, my family and I do not plan on buying this pizza anytime again soon. It would be a great 'college' or high school pizza kind of like Totino's in my opinion.

Okay friends, so I tried the 'Great Value Microwave Pepperoni Pizza' today and cooked it in the oven. It was better than Jack's I think and better than Totino's but cheaper per calorie also. Jack's did have a better crust texture and I think if I grilled a Jack's that would be something better too but I haven't tried grilling one.

I do apologize I did not look at my notes better before I did the first part of the review. At .38 cents per calorie, the Jack's is MORE expensive than Tony's, Red Baron, Tombstone, and even Home Run Inn pizza. So, this Jack's thin pizza may seem less expensive but per caloric value is actually more expensive and tastes not as good as those others. The pepperoni and marinara are okay in flavor but not better than the over average pizzas available at local stores.

Friends, for around the same price, Tony's is a much better pizza than this but Tombstone and Red Baron are about $1 more and still better.

I had one of these about a year ago - it is the worst pizza (frozen or otherwise) I have had in my 50+ years of pizza eating. Bottom line - pure garbage.

Thanks Tim! Tell us what you really think! All kidding aside, have you tried a Totino's? For me, that was quite far worse than Jack's if you can believe that.

Hi Jack, thanks for the recommend! I bet they are. It even says it on the package like 'Good for grilling' or something like that. I will let everyone know if I try it. Do you do a direct grill like on low or more of an indirect grill/bake?

@@michaelwilsonbarber I cook them direct and they cook very fast. The crust will be nice and crispy!
