Check mate to KJV haters, Isaiah 34:16 tells us in this dispensation to " seek ye out"of" the book of the Lord.
In Amos 8:12 it's clear the word of the Lord is not present on the earth in that dispensation ( the book of revelation ) Jeremiah 30:7 .
And according to psalm 12:6-7 God promised to preserve the purity of his word through a process of purification over time.
So in conclusion if we as saved Christians don't have the pure book of the Lord that makes Isaiah a false prophet, the Holy Spirit a liar and the very spoken word of God in error , blaspheme!!!
I'm no bible scholar just a homeless saint that believes the bible the KJV.
All glories to the Lamb of God.

Revelation 22:18~19 seems pretty clear to me: "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, *If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away from his part out of if the book of life,* and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
The notes in my Ruckman reference King James state this is how you spot corrupt, counterfeit "scriptures" because they add (Koran, Talmud, Apocrypha, abd Book of Mormon) or take away (RV, ASV, NASV, NIV, etc) from His word.

Your arguement is self-refuting. The KJV is made from newer manuscripts that have obvious copyist errors that are not found in the oldist manuscripts and so likely not in the autographs (the originals). This has caused it to have things that were not in the original and to be missing things that were.
If you want to have the most accurate possible translation made from the most information 7:29 the KJV ain't it.
If the KJV is inspired, what is someone who speaks another language beside English supposed to read?
If it was ok to translate into old English (a dead language), than why not modern English?

    • @captainobvious8665

Revelation was written in Greek and there is no word-for-word translation of it possible. By your standard, we cannot use any translation.

KJV is the true God Breathed preserved Word for us today. Written in a 4-6 grade level with universal language that has gone around the wold, making English almost a universal language- so all can come to the truth. The thees, thous you could learn if you just try- and they tell if plural or singular, unlike the generic “you”. Before 1611 the Word was amoung true believers, study the real history- was many witnesses, orAl and written , from the true Christian areas, such as Syria, Antioch etc. many died for their faith. God can create the universe, don’t you know he could write, preserve, and bless a current translation, inspired, and close that blessing with the 1611? By the fruits it is known. The gnostic copies, by “textual” critiques, from Egypt, lie, omit, degrade God, and totally are trying to bring all under a “one world” cult of eccuminism, Catholic controlled blindness, to follow men , and Satan.

I challenge all who say they fully understand the KJV to read any other work from that time and fully understand it. Only those who are specialists in Elizabethan English will be able to do this, and they can only because they were taught in school how English worked in that era. No one today who has not had that training can do so, and to insist that 21st-ccentury people can is to display ignorance of how much the English language has changed over the centuries. When someone today reads the KJV he translates in his minds the archaic words and phrases into modern English. What he understands in what his preachers and teachers have told him those archaic words and phrases mean; he didn't grow up speaking that language.

The Bible was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic. There is no way possible to translate word for word. It would be completely intelligible. Every Bible translator has to rearrange and use additional words to try and explain what the original message.

Does your statement apply to the 260-300 Hebrew quotations from the OT that are translated into Greek in the NT. Did the Holy Spirit "lose" something when he inspired Paul or Matthew to quote from the OT in the Greek language?

Dispersed In various manuscripts in various languages. The King James Bible is the perfect word of God for the English speaking people. The English language, itself, didn’t really finalize until the time of the King James Bible. The KJB itself helped cement English as a language.

I thank God for the NLT and the NET. The English we speak today is much different than 1611. The average person cannot understand the KJV. Being able to read the words and understand what is being said is not the same thing. The KJV is confusing to every modern English speaker without training in Elizabethan English.

Education has little to do with understanding the KJV.

I didn't go to a Bible college or a seminary school, and wouldn't if it were free. It's not a school, a man, or a woman that teaches what the Holy Scriptures say.
It is The Holy Spirit, God, and Jesus Christ who teaches a humble and contrite man he is going to die in his sins.
The problem with you high-minded people is, that you think you can correct God.
If you wanna read a NLT, ESV, NIV, go ahead, you wanna believe your version of Isaiah 14:12 that Jesus Christ is Lucifer and damn your own souls, free will is still free: hop on that train.
Do what you want it's your soul.
But don't disgrace this Book, The Bible, This King James Authorized 1611 Bible, that God spoke to me through, lying in a floor half dead. YOU doubt, and don't have understanding because your part of this world.
And you can't get it through your thick skulls that the Lord Jesus Christ told Pilate, the Jews, the Gentiles.
John 18:36 "MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD".
Neither am I, thanks to the Holy Spirit that led me to Christ and salvation. If you can't understand it it's because you chose not to understand it.
John 8:47 "HE THAT IS OF GOD HEARETH GOD'S WORDS, ye therefore hear them not because your not of God".
That is the words of God, the Son of God, and the Holy Ghost.
Tell him you can't understand that Elizabethian 1611 English.
And ask him to help you to!
That's what I did! Because I have Faith IN HIM, not a man.
1 John 5:9 (If we receive the witness of men, the Witness of God is Greater)
