  • This is day 3 of my trip to Chamonix France in the Fall of 2022
Day 1: • Hiking Grand Balcon No...
    Day 2: • Solo Hiking Chamonix /...
On this day I hiked 14.5 Miles (23.3km) and 6,500 ft (1980m) to La Jonction. This hike starts from Les Bossons and ends at the junction of the Bossons and Taconnaz glaciers and as close as possible to the summit of Mont Blanc without any mountaineering equipment. This day had some of my most epic views and felt closest to the Alpine zone.
I decided to skip the Tour De Mont Blanc on this trip and use Chamonix as my home base on this trip and it turned out to be the best decision ever. It allowed me to see the best sections of trail, offer me total flexibility, and allowed me to enjoy town every night.
Chamonix is a picturesque town in the French Alps, at the base of Mont Blanc and a world base for outdoor sports like climbing, trail running, mountaineering, paragliding and everything else. It is a paradise for outdoor lovers and a place I've been looking forward to visiting for many years.

Just stumbled on your channel. Kept looking at your sunglasses. What are they? Love the videos. We are going back to Chamonix this summer just as we did last year.

Great video and breathtaking shots! When I clicked and watched it I thought it must have a lot of views and be from a large channel, but now that I finished I realize a relatively small number of people have watched and liked this. Hopefully my sub, like, and comment helps boost this beautiful video up the algorithm.

I'll be hiking in Chamonix in July. Should I be worried about seeing bears?

Do you think the hikes are doable in may? Or should I wait a month or two

Not being in the area I am not sure to be honest. I would expect things to be wetter and more snowy but would check alltrails, webcames in area and weather to get a better idea of conditions.
      Have a great trip!

I stayed at a tiny airbnb linked below. Since I was out hiking all day it worked perfectly for me.
