Dang you! After seeing I had a closed-back combo (Fender Acoustasonic Pro) I was getting ready to let a shop do this, until I saw your pliers on the nameplate's screw trick! Even though my screws were tiny compared to yours this still worked. So, ya, thanks! ;) Seriously!
Great video! I love ampeg cabs but I wish the tolex wasn't so crappy it tears easily and the glue used does not stick well. I'm a working musician and I play gigs regularly and quite frankly the tolex is all torn and falling apart on my 410HE. It's so bad I have to get it re-wrapped pretty upset about it because it's not cheap. I have a old fender 410 and that one has been through hell and back and the tolex is still intact, sure it has scratches but the tolex does not tear off or unstick.
I'm thinking of buying the new 2x10 vertical cab but use it horizontally. Can you remove all 4 screws on the ampeg logo, rotate it 90 degrees, and the screws will still line up?
On my BA-115 I am pulling the screw to the point I feel sure I'm about to rip it out of its threading. This doesn't seem quite right for my model. Any tips anyone?
do you know the best fabrics for making removable grille clothe covers? I'd like to place tie-dyed fabric over the clothe cover. Maybe it will protect the grille cloth too. ? Thanks for reading this.

My ba 108 combo has a little pull tab so it's super easy to take it off lol this is cool though. Neat trick
Great tip with the screws on the logo. Thank you!
very nice trick with the screw! i'm trying to figure if I have a blown speaker, really helpful!
tt's a little hard with the 610hlf but it still works, thank you 🥰
You, sir, are a life saver! THANK YOU **SO** much for posting this!
Use a Home Depot paint can opener. Hooks right in there.👌🏻

That's a really neat trick. Nice one.
Wow, great tip. Wish I had watched this before I tried everything else...unsuccessfully! Glad I didn't do any real damage in the process. ;-)
Fantastic tip! Worked like a charm! Thanks!

Great! Thanks
how does the grill cloth panel stay in the cabinet? Is it just wedged in there? Thx!
Gracias! 🙌🙌🙌👌👌💯🙏
does this also work for the grill cloth on the head?
Thanx
Thin putty knife, man. Even better to use one at each top corner.
"play bass!" fuck guitars!
