Leaving us with a cliffhanger, how fun for the viewers! I will not attempt a guess but would like to say thanks for visiting the WW2 museum, that gave me goosebumps. That conflict affected so many world wide, including my family. Gdańsk, a city with a rich, complex history and courageous citizens. Safe journeys and I pray you find a home with wonderful neighbors and peaceful surroundings.

Warsaw, Cracow, Gdansk are overcrowded but there are still amazing places like the Silesia region in Poland (Katowice, Chorzów, Gliwice, Mikołów, and other cities) where there are so many places still available for people to come. I think a lot of refugees are avoiding it because they don't know it but it's an amazing region! Also the best city in Poland - Bielsko-Biała still has a lot of places, where we have amazing mountains and great quality of life! There are many apartments here with very affordable prices and there is a decent job market.

That may very well be true. I live across the bay from Tampa and they say it is very very expensive down here. Of course it was very expensive where I came from. I came from greater Boston. All around mostly within route 128. The last place I lived was Salem. And back maybe 15 years ago apartments on my street were $1,100 and the place that I lived was like $535 a month, heated. My landlady had lived there for a very long time. At least since she was married. And she was 92 I think. Finally her children decided to sell the house so I had to move. And I couldn't afford anywhere either. So I moved to Florida where my mother lived and my father had died like a year and a half before. So it was safe :-) I wouldn't live with him again. And then 3 and 1/2 years later she died also. And maybe 2 and 1/2 years ago my brother moved in.
So you leave us with a cliffhanger! I do hope it is in Poland.
Thank you for walking through the main Streets again. All the old buildings, maybe I wouldn't think they were so pretty but so many different colors, side by side. And that thing that looked like a palace. Maybe somebody will tell me what it was. I know, I talked too much - They won't read this far. I think it was pink and white and they were having something about Ukraine in front of it and they had some screens. It was so pretty.
One thing about all of this, I am learning about different places. I get to see grocery stores in Russia. Before I was just looking at Doctors watching medical dramas and call ducks in Japan. I think it's Japan. And cats. The whole internet looks at cat videos.
But one day on Facebook I saw the girl who showed us her apartment near Moscow and it looked as if someone had just stolen it from RUclips. I went to look and found her. Now she's in Uzbekistan. Very very old buildings but not as pretty as these. They are sturdy though. They are not crumbling.
I can't remember how long ago. Maybe last year. On the other side of Florida a building collapsed. It just collapsed. And you see buildings in Ukraine and they have been bombed and they are still standing.

I love this region, you have a good way to Germany and Czech, and beautiful mountains! And, you have to know that a lot of people in South of Poland (like Karkonosze area) were displaced from Ukraine (in that time it was a polish territory), so everyone there is nice, helpful, open, they are understanding, because they know how to is being "alien".

Wyzywam? Nazywam pana słowa głupotami? Nie. Niestety to o kim mówimy i w jaki sposób świadczy więcej o nas samych. Polecam Google Scholar i szukanie artykułów. Tu jeden cytat (Skonieczna): "W publikacjach z tamtego czasu można spotkać się z tezą o kulturowej wyższości Polaków nad
Ukraińcami a także o niezdolności Ukraińców do uzyskania niepodległości (patrz np. Kossak-Szczucka 1996)".
(terror i sabotaż).
Padają zaledwie krótkie zdania, iż doszło do „antypolskiej
z powszechnej migracji powojennej". Pozdrawiam!

East has virtually no large cities, so 🙅
Centre - as you say Kraków is overflowing. Katowice?
West gives you an easy choice - Wrocław (vrotslav).

However - If you really like Gdańsk and do not want to leave it so easily - Maybe it is good to consider some smaller towns nearby? Tczew, Wejherowo, Rumia, Reda. I know that it is not the same but - public transport connection is well organized and worth to think about. Or Kościerzyna. Main city of Kashubia region. (Ca 50 km from Gdańsk)

Come to Silesian district :) There is something like megalopolis - one city by another. Maybe it will be easier to find something in good price in Katowice, Chorzow, Gliwice, Zabrze, Tychy or other city. There is a lot of postindustrial places, museums, modern buildings. Also a lot of green places, parks, close to the mountains, Cracow, with a good local transport.

Górny Śląsk could be a good place to start in Poland. The properties are very cheap there, meanwhile this towns have quite developed infrastructure. Sometimes it's cheaper to buy flat there than rent flat in Warsaw or Gdańsk for 3 years

That was very brave of you guys to go to WWII museum, as the parallels with what happened to you and what's happening now in Ukraine must have been very strong. I hope you will make a separate video about it. I will have to go to see that place next time I'm in Gdansk. Your mention of shopping in the future at Biedronka makes me think you will be staying in Poland, but I have no guess as to where. Looking forward to your next video!

@@roberturbanczyk204We haven’t any problems with it in Poznań. Actually we have the lowest unemployment rate in Poland for over 20 years in a row, so Poznań have to invite people to come, just to fulfill job positions and keep that success oriented city going fast forward. If you are gonna visit Poznań right now you will see endless numbers of cranes and building sites all around. Although the most important thing is that Poznan is the place where you get best value for money.

Wrocław, Poznań, Katowice, Szczecin is an option too (close to Germany and Berlin)
+100 k cities (cheaper): Toruń (very nice historical city close to Gdańsk, Warszawa), Jelenia Góra (close to the mountains and Prague, Czechia).

This kind of architecture, where bricks are mixed with wood, covered with white plaster, is called "timber framing" and "post-and-beam construction", or "szachulec" in Polish, and it was very common in the old days. It does require a lot of maintenance, so not so many of these kinds of buildings are left.
