Lyrics:
Daddy, Daddy if I was raped would you wanna know where I walked?
Would you wanna know what I wore?
Would you wanna know who he was?
What if I was 30 or 12? What if I had one drink?
If the victim is your daughter, does that complicate the blaming?
We will no longer be silent! Speak up, let your voice be heard
Dissenters drown in a sea of truth and our healing will cover the Earth
Say it! Say it! I was raped
it's a tune and an important message but the vid is full of beardy hipster men and someone was wearing a trans (ie mra) badge so it's a bit confused but yeah, nice one
@@connie_d learned that trans people are human yet?
I saw War on Women live Monday night in Pittsburgh and - believe it or not - actually got choked up at this one.
Powerful, powerful song. Love it so much. As a male survivor, I especially want to thank you for your diversity of people in the video. Lots of love and solidarity!!
Intense, disturbing, challenging, brave.
NECESSARY.
Cringe, cringe, cringe, cringe, cringe.
25% disliked. Like all thier videos.
All the silly men threatened by empowered women disgust me.
The amount of male insecurity that follows this band is astounding. I just recently discovered them, and while I can't say I'm a fan they aren't a bad band. The singer's voice is very good, and the message is totally relevant.
Great video! Thank you girls!
This band and its messages are so important. I love that there are finally some really talented female musicians in punk rock who sing about important issues like rape. I'm a little over pop punk sometimes because it's just about white male suburban problems like hating your town and your parents. This song is so much heavier and so much more relatable, as a female. Keep rocking, War on Women! I'll always be a proud supporter!
I just poured my heart out about how much I love this band, and you want to comment to me that women like this talented, amazing person are the reason that rape happens? You have the freedom of speech, but really you don't have to say an opinion that's already been said all over the comment section of this video. I wanted to spread some positivity in at least one comment section of youtube that's been turned to trash. That's all. Please take your negative energy and opinions to another commenter.
Your'e glad that there are "finally" talented women in punk rock? Have you been in a fucking cave for the last 30 years? Jesus Christ.
To observe a beautiful view?
Not to dismiss your opinion, but there's been talented women in punk singing abo
ut issues like this since the beginning. Check out some of this stuff, since you
probably haven't heard it!

WOMEN, NATURES PUNCHING BAG!!!
I cannot wait to see these guys live makes me so excited to what this!
Saw them last Saturday night, they were great!
These guys make my eyes well up every time I hear. So raw, so good. See them live.
This never has been my style of music, but the message needs to be heard! Love it!
This always was my kinda music. But the lyrics: 🤷🏻♂️?!
Got to hug the lead singer at Warped Tour this year. Such a kick-ass performance with an awesome message that goes along with it. With this band I fell in love at first sight #dontgrabmypussy
I just happened to walk by the stage they were performing on while Shawna was screaming, "I HAD AN ABORTION!". The next thing I remember was her yelling this song. It was then I realized I found a band with complete importance.
FUCK YEAH!!!!
love it
Nasty tone. Powerful subject matter

Sonic Youth sound.
It's fucking disgusting how many dudes are on here talking shit .
This is very very okay. There's definitely some talent to be heard here, but I feel like it falls kind of flat of being a good hardcore song.
Look, I think it's ridiculous that there's this rift between the conscious punks and the shitlord punks. I don't think it's very punk to support Trump, but I also resent being made to feel alienated in the punk world the times I don't tow the PC line. I been listening to the Dickies for most of my life.
That said, this shit here is fire. War on Women is pretty gnarly from what I'm hearing. Good message and shit.
мне нравится ваша музыка и режущий женский вокал. у вас хорошо получается.
Ready to see you guys on Riot Fest in Chicago!
As someone who was violently raped, I find this actually disturbing, that this song was written by a man and someone who was never raped. A very important message about bravery delivered poorly. Ill written. Meanwhile someone in the band is a victim of rape and not once is her voice advocated or displayed. Not once is she put in the spotlight to show women what strength truly is to “speak up”
Stop marketing off others trauma if you haven’t experienced it yourself.
It’s like being a privileged white kid and singing about what it means to be black in America.
Amazing.
This is such a good song :)
I was raped by this song. It is one of the worst songs I've ever heard in my life, without a doubt.
Interesting that everyone who thinks this "sucks" is a dude.
Nope. I'm not, and I think this sounds like an even shittier female version of Limp Bizkit with a failure of attempting to be Disturbed.
Hey I have a vagina and I think this music sucks
Chaparra Yay LOL
So you're saying that dudes have better taste than chicks.
stop making such retarded remarks. You make everything about gender.
Daddy, Daddy if I was raped would you wanna know where I walked?
Would you wanna know what I wore?
Would you wanna know who he was?
What if I was 30 or 12? What if I had one drink?
If the victim is your daughter, does that complicate the blaming?

Say it! Say it! I was raped
Saw them open for Subhumans in Cleveland my goodness they were simply amazing , I really am glad they made this song.....
Awesome ! My new favourite band !
if this video is from 2015 and still only has 19k views, then it's not just me who thinks this song is shit.
This song is the product of Limp Bizkit and Disturbed to make a horror story of a band. Like the song is so cheap.
This song is totally badass!
first time checking out this band. Band is good, not the biggest fan of the vocal style.
seriously can't believe this lead singer compared herself to Robert Plant in an interview though... lol
i saw these guys at warped tour and they were really mediocre, thier singer really loved screaming into the fucking mic and making it impossible for the sound guys to do thier job and make it sound enjoyable, she took "eat your heart out" way to fucking far and you gotta love the in-between-song shill for "pee pee poo poo donald trumpf" and all that shit, but hey, at least its the effort that counts right?
fatprincess45 it's called punk
No thanks.
If you want real "Feminist Hardcore" listen to SPITBOY, a 90's hardcore feminist band from Oakland, CA. This is fucking awful, Hot Topic, internet feminism bullshit.
this is the most hilarious thing i have ever seen
Pretty sure my ears were raped by this song,
Ty, if it means getting away from this processed bubblegum bullshit then yes I would be glad to!
processed? this is punk not much about it processed
say it!
Just for the record, you can't just play hard rock over women screaming *I WAS RAPED!!!* over and over and have a great song.
Not cool with rape in any way. But this song sucks.
pretty good....for punk....I hate punk.
The message is necessary, but better musicians should wield it.
very important message but come on this is such a corny delivery
saw them play before Andy Black, loved and disliked it at the same time. lmao, mixed emotions tbh but a big part of me just loves the spunk in the lead singer
Kenma Kozume Ya like the show itself was energetic and full throttle and she had good stage presence but then it was a 5 minute trump tangent and their full tard lyrics where I noped out
that was not good
This is fucking awful in every aspect
i love this band
It's just meh. It's not good and it's not bad. There's no standout talent and it just sounds like I've heard this played out.
For real Kevin Lynman....what were you thinking when booking them on the lineup last year? These guys don't even have 50k views. So noone is going to come out for them. The music is really cringey most of the time. I suppose the message is fine but it doesn't make the music anymore fun to listen to. This was just blantant pandering to lowest common denominator of feminism. Looking back they didn't even get any momentum after the tour. What a waste.....
Good message but horrible execution of a song and awful lyrics/instrumental.
best band of our time and future
Cringe.
Gross.
