During the pandemic, this channel directed me to games to share with my family. We’d always loved games but my oldest daughter (then 9) declared Mondays to be game night. So I needed more than the few I had left over from childhood and I was NOT BUYING MONOPOLY. Between Actualol and Wil Wheaton’s Tabletop I ended up with a bunch of games (despite Jon’s admonishment not to buy too many). Actualol has yet to steer me wrong! So I definitely became a patron as a way of thanking Jon!
This is by far the most consistently entertaining board game channel. JP radiates sincerity and good humour, without being an edge lord or sneaking in a lot of political comments. I loved seeing him appear in a SUSD video years ago. I promise to join Patreon as soon as my current period of unemployment comes to an end!

Your channel is absolutely, by far my board-game favourite because of how down-to-earth it is. Most channels are overtly critical with some ridiculous rating and criteria, while you focus on what's important. Oh, and you also have the best sound and editing skills.
