- Dining Room Makeover Reveal | Creating our Dream Home | Before & Afters!
We're putting some finishing touches on this space, and styling it for the reveal! While we believe our spaces evolve over time and are never truly finished, this space is an absolute dream of a dining room that we will enjoy for years to come. We plan to thrift some wooden chairs for the dining room so the sunroom chairs won't stay but fit with the color palette to give you an idea of the look. PLUS the buffet makeover is finished and revealed as well!

I am a retired Art teacher and just had surgery for a torn rotator yesterday. Your videos came up on my feed and now I’m binge-watching them. LOVE your background music, and LOVE decorating style. Especially Halloween and Christmas. My husband and have done little remodeling to our house too, and we were and still are novices. Love watching you two. I hope you show us the outside of your home. Buy wood filler, in some places they sell it in wood colors. You can buy it in ebony color. If not paint it. I did it and it took out the circles from the handles before. Love your makeover. Well done. Thanks enjoyed this episode.

ESPs.. I had a dream last night, with doing the gold hardware, and wall outlets. The outlet part has my tummy in disarray. I was like please please don’t get electrocuted. I felt it when watching and even thinking about it. Probably, because I unplugged something in a week ago, and zzzz. Anyways, okay..... it turned out amazing!!!! ❤️

New to your channel and subbed quickly! Just wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing your thoughts on the black paints you have recently used. Mainly I’d love to know which one you liked better…the one used on the chairs and table, or the one you used on the buffet. I seem to remember you liked the first paint you used because it dried so smoothly. Just wondering why you didn’t repeat that on the buffet.

The paint I used on the table is wonderful because it is really durable and doesn’t require a top coat, it dries to almost an enamel-like finish. I really love it for furniture.
The reason I chose to use a different paint for the buffet is because I wanted a matte finish and a deep black. The table has a shiny finish and a slight blue undertone. Loved the color of the paint on the buffet but not the topcoat I used.
