Me, personally when a man sincerely likes the woman and is inspiring to build a friendship it's a compliment, to that woman. Solely because that man values you, vs. Your body or finances. Also, its mutual that he wants to potentially date you long term. I adore this video, shining light on this topic!
🚀🚀🚀
This help me. Thanks
needed to hear this
I do & I'm a marry her in 2025 💍💯🙏🏼
1 There is NO Pressure
2 friendship builds Respect
3 Find things in Common
Yup! Genuine friendship, and be open to other potential mates. If a friendship is established and people "expect" a "relationship in the future". it's not genuine & kills the natural flow. Embrace the dark and light side of our personas and work on ourselves. Be real/authentic , call out bullshit like you'd do to other friends. Express opinions, stories and emotions. No one should be placed on a pedestal. Relationships extend the happiness that exist within ourselves. Hug your guy friends, like your girl friends. Paradoxically, when people stop caring about it, become content and love yourself . That's when the magic happens. So walk the path of self-improvement. Some folks have never been in a genuine and deeply connected friendship and this can confuse people to be a negative thing. Awesome video, Josh and Sanah!
Hmm.. 💭💭💭
Me and a women I met jumped right into dating and kind of fell way to hard way to fast and it completely backfired on not only her but ME. we didn’t get to learn about our flaws, our insecurities, and most importantly we didn’t get to understand each other on a PERSONAL LEVEL. We ended and it was the worst pain I felt because I genuinely cared about her so much and she means everything to me. So, we had a talk about 7 days after, and decided to be friends, and get to know each other on a personal level & really learn about one another. And all I can say is I’m so happy to have her in my life again. It’s something different and I feel like I don’t have to be pressured with her or worry about her 24/7 now but I get to laugh & be happy together while building something. 🙌🏼❤️
This just made my smile after a long day of crying. I’m in the same situation
That is great as long as the understanding is there that y’all might go for it again if that’s what your desire is. You don’t want there to be any confusion there. Know what I mean?
😅🙏🏾
This is truly heartfelt
I love this. All the best.
She reminds me a little of brandy
I shared this video with my adult son because everything you said is absolutely true - and we are proof. Thanks for showing the younger generation the secret to long healthy relationships.
-Message from a 28 year relationship of ups and downs but always remained each other's best friend ... where we were friends first. Friends (with no benefits) for 2 years, dated for 10, married the rest.
Nice!!!!
I agree with this 100%. Establish a friendship first, and then see if it can become a relationship. Be confident and a good person and it will come.
Thanks
Thank you so much. When you have basic friendship nobody has to "perform". We just show up and be ourselves. I love to learn and grow, and I seek the same. I want to help my friend achieve her goals and dreams as well. Whatever they may be.
I’m so glad you were able to benefit from this video! I like your take it on 👍🏽
I really appreciate your guys' perspective on this. So many people don't have the patience or even basic understanding of the benefits of building a friendship. I think the main fear, which is valid, is the risk of really only seeing the other person as a platonic friend after having built a friendship, and not taking things further. It is complicated, but if mutual respect is built, there doesn't have to be resentment and bitterness if things don't work out.
Honestly I can see it both ways. I personally do not mind being friends first as long as I know that there is a possibility of the other. Some people want to keep you in the friend zone though and that’s where I don’t acquiesce if I am attracted to that person.
Exactly. The friend zone is a rejection. If you have other women you know are displaying genuine interest in you then walking away from a "Let's just be friends" situation will be nothing for you to do. You are then a higher value man for not being a beta male orbiter giving her free attention.
Nothing is permanent and with that attitude you’re not going to grow lol
@@FabricatedUniverse I have alot of experience in the friendzone it never pans out, I've had so many girls say to me "I wish I could find a man just like you!" So I make my advance and they say "oh, no you're like a little brother to me."
I'm with Ryan mostly, even if they say it'll turn into something more I just tell them to come find me when they're ready otherwise you're just there to stroke her ego.
Thank you guys so much for doing this!!!! I am 32 and I have never had it been told this way. I have a bad romantic track record but I know that I am willing to change for the better. I will be listening to this quite often!!! God bless you both!!!!
Thank you!
I love this, especially the part about abstinence💕. I'm saving sex till marriage☺

Thank you for sharing the importance of this subject. You both radiate beautifully off of each other by the way! 🙏🏼🌸

You guys are awesome 🙏🏽❣️I been dong it all wrong all this time 🤦🏻♂️now I know better!
Absti.... 😫😩😣😔 new for me and i value but changing the habit is challenging
💯👌🏽and love the humor too!
Needed this. Feel it may save the relationship i have my sons mother.
I don't know why people think that you can be somebody best friend in a relationship. It doesn't exist. Because once you in a relationship. There are things you can't speak on once you are with somebody. A friendship doesn't have sex with they friends. So therefore a friend can never ever have jealous emotions. Or get bad at they friend. If they friend talks about other people outside of themselves. In a relationship no man wants to hear a lady talking about other guys all day. Or hearing his girlfriend or wife talking about this guy this. And this guy that. Only a female can tell a friend anything. But she can't tell her significant other everything. Unless it's about them learning each other. You feel me. People be trying to hard to fit in to societal ways of looking into things. Just because the most of the world 🌎 says y'all suppose to be Best friends first. Doesn't make that statement true. You heard.
It doesn’t exist for you! You’re definition of friendship is flawed.
Love this!
Thank you so much for your advice
Great advice thank you
i just hope taking it slow doesnt drive the girl away 😂
S A S S O O N taking it slow won’t ruin ones that have the potential to be great it ruins those that are nothing but pain and misery
The best thing you can do for yourself is never be afraid to walk away or to get into something that may not work out . No reward without risk and if a relationship doesn’t stick it’s probably not what your looking for
well, I can say from personal experience that it can drive her away in terms of wanting a romantic relationship for a very long time, sometimes even perminantly, but it can make your friendship bond stronger, if she changes her mind at a later point, and decides to be friends that can possibly happen, but she might choose to be with other people first, you may end up seeing her with other people, or even married to someone else, in which case you may not end up with her at all, but it all depends, im just saying in my experience, ive never ended up with a woman ever, in any situation including the taking it slow and starting as friends

Wow I feel lucky to have found this video at the right time. The lady ive been talking too said she wants to hang out as friends. After watching this video and reading the comments, it all makes sense now. I have to get to know her and let her feelings for me grow.
So grateful this video gave you clarity. The foundation to relationships are so important 🙏🏽
Part 2!!!
Agree with this 100 percent
Thank you for this! If a person can't keep a friendship long term then how can that same person keep a relationship?
This is great
Great Video
Tanks guys
Lol aww your both so cute, beautiful advice Pbta goals! 💕✨🙏🏾
PBTA Thanks sis!!
The guy I like always messages me all day every day even at work he even spent $40 on a game that I told him about a week ago just so we can play together we are long distant we have had intermit convosations with each other that we’re personal private stuff about each other but we both have come out of a heartbreaking break up and I’m scared we aren’t gonna feel the same due to rebound
Would you be Able to give a timeframe as a guideline, to being friends prior?
Thank you
Good video.
I am in that situation
the only catch to this is, is Very Very Rarely can a man in the friendzone get out the friendzone. Not many men can come out the friendzone. if the woman sees you as friends only that indicates low physical attraction
But attraction can grow over time
I agree. When a woman says she wants to be friends it is a rejection, not a genuine offer of friendship. The idiot beta guy will then go "so you're saying there's a chance?" and become an orbiter giving her free attention
@@Ancestorsofmusic That only happens in romantic comedys. Or when a woman gets off the carousel, is "done with all the bad boys" and is ready to settle down with the best beta guy she can find and he thinks his ship has come in.
@@Ancestorsofmusic That only happens in romantic comedys. Or when a woman hits 30, is "done with all the bad boys" and wants to get off the carousel because her sexual market value is declining and the beta friend-in-waiting thinks his ship has come in.
@TravelingDiva2018 No, I'm not bitter. This is the harsh reality of the dating world that more men especially need to understand. Fortunately men are waking up and unlearning that old way of thinking.
She do remind me of Brandy! Y'all both nice looking ppl.
He looks like Luke James. 😳😳
A lil.. haha
LMFAAOO Why Am IDyin Watchin This 😂😂😂😂
the out of the box farewell song 😂
😂😂😂
factss
Cool
That Out of the Box intro tho lol
But maybe we should spread this message and peoples mindsets can be changed so that we do not have to be so one-dimensional.
A guy suggested that we are better off starting off as friends first because I wasn't relaxed?
I agree that friends would be nice first but don't we just say friends if we only see them as a friend? X
I'm having this problem too. Trying to take it easy and see what happens but I'm scared he'll friendzone me... I guess it's good that he's texting me everyday? It's hard not to overthink it xx
Laura Barnes what’s the latest ? Did you guys become more than friends?
You can still flirt and show interest but keep a understanding the more y’all communicate the better
@@laurabarnes541 you allow the World to dictate your thinking, that’s sad. The friendzone is not real, and is a made up concept in society. Express your feelings to him, sooner than later. Narcissistic people only would believe in some b.s like that.
@@dimitrescucrncevic9746 the friend zone is real, its where one person wants to be more than friends and the other doesn't, because some people who have friend zoned someone have change their minds later, it means that the person who is in the friend zone wouldn't know if they would be able to be more than friends at some point in their life, but at the same time they wouldn't be able to count on it, because in many ways when someone says they see you as only a friend, it is a rejection of romance, however, it shouldn't be a term used to blame people for not reciprocating those romantic feelings, and not everyone who gets friend zoned blames anyone for the situation, because like I was saying, the friend zone is a term given to friends, but only one of them wants to be more than friends and has romantic feelings
Nam sayin
But how do you stay in that friends mentality when you are head over heels?
When you say friends and get to know them, do you mean not to have deeper feelings or deeper thoughts about them being more?
Can you be friends with a guy who have a baby mother two kids living with
