Trade 1, grab Fautanu , bundle both 3s for a 2nd and get WR.
Trade One, kindly note you can always bundle 72 & 77 to get back into the second round
Why should we have to give up a 3 if Jacksonville would want something from us? They need to pay for something not us.
Getting an extra third and Bowers would be awesome.
Blue sky preferences:
At 10 - Odunze
At 12 - Bowers
At 17 - Thomas Jr
At 22 - Graham Barton
Option number 1!!
With 2 older tackles both on one year deals. Must take a quality Tackle or they’ll be in the same position next year.
And,
Hopefully not picking so high…
Trade down to about the 17th or 18th. Brock Bowers should be there. I am not doing trade #2 if I am giving up a 3rd without Trading Zch in the trade. I want the 17th and a 2nd round pick and a trade Zach Wilson and giving up a 3rd.
I think either trade up or trade down. I don't believe we should stick at 10. If we stick at 10 there is a good chance the top 3 WR's and the top 2 tackles are off the board. I understand people want Bowers but just historically TE's picked inside the top 10 have pretty underwhelming carers compared to WR's taken late first and even early second.
Whatever we have to do for Olu (LT)
Nix & Penix could be key
Have no problem sliding down to 22. Getting a 2nd is worth losing out on some bigger names and let’s not forget we can always trade back up if an enticing prospect falls. I’d be happy with Paul, Barton or Guyton for offensive help. Penix might also be there if we dare to draft a Qb.
If Odunze is available at 10 then take him at 10. If not, then 3rd option.
Agreed. If Odunze is there at 10 you do not trade down.
Agree
Cant see him there at 10 unless 4 QBs are going before 10..And the bears will take him at 9..
@@heydddd Possibly. I think 4 QBs do go by 10 and Da Bears may go Oline to protect their new QB. But both scenarios could happen. Getting Odunze at 10 is my dream.
Bears should go pass rusher at 9
would love for them to continue trading down til they have mulriple 2nds and 3rds. At this point, depth at all the OL and WRs is the priority.
Unless Alt or one of the 3 prize receivers is available at 10 I’ve always been in the trade down boat. I’d love to see a move to 17-19 and pick up a second rounder
Option 2 Get Mimms who can cover both OT spots and be the future at one of them. I think you get a 2nd without giving up a third though. Give them back 134?
In the second round I'm happy with best available - DT for the future? or Legette at WR. In the third /fourth get a Guard & Safety in the order that makes most sense.
Not a fan of trading two 3rds for a second. The team has too many needs to fill in the 3rd to give one up. Safety, Guard, WR....fill our boots. Try to ditch the last two picks if possible for one slightly higher up?
Its better to trade down and still get a starting lineman in RD 1. Solidifying the WR room is crucial with a 2nd
Less concerned with how far down we go than I am with these returns. Would rather stick and pick than option 2 or 3
We should take Brian Thomas Junior with any of these scenarios. I don’t think he’s a bad pick at 10 overall but if we can trade down and still get him is a huge win. He may be this years top WR when it’s all said and done.
I would take the 2nd route with the Jags bcuz i would hate not getting a good Lineman...Fautanu or Latham would fit the bill...Thats most important keeping the "Golden Goose" protected...& with a new 2nd rounder u can package picks & move back up for Quality.....BeBe,Mahogany, or S couldb be options also..
I would do trades one and three.
Would love to hear what u think about JPJ the C from Oregon at 22 and having him battle tipp for the starting job. This allows flexibility with AVT to OT barring injury and tipp kicks out to OG.
All depends if we can get Bowers or one of the WRs (Odunze, MHJ or Nabers) . I'm hoping both are available at 10 so we can trade down with DEN or LA. If they're not I would trade down to recoup a pick and get an OL depth because, hoping everyone is healthy the lineman won't be a starter at 10. Vs bowers or the WR will have a huge impact this year. So only way i'm making the pick at 10 is for a starter.
The interesting idea here to make up for not tanking is probably to trade with Den for picks #12 & #76. Then Trade #12 & #76 to Jacksonville for #17 & #48. Then Trade #17 to the Eagles for #22 & #53 plus you keep #48 and then trade all three for #6.
Learning from last year I think you want Joe Alt. However if either Harrison Jr or Malik Nabers could be the #1 receiver and get you 1500 yards then we could have our best shot ever at winning it all next year. Likewise I believe Justin Jefferson for the #10 pick is the smartest move. Minnesota with 10, 11 and 19 trade up to #2.
However if you could budget it getting Tee Higgins for the second round picks awesome if you can restructure enough contracts to make it happen.
I don't wanna trade Zach Wilson for a 6th round pick even though Brock Purdy was taken there. I just can't remember the last time that the Jets got better value for a late round pick other than Brandon Marshall.
Really I want to dramatically show better offense next year.
Trade #2 and if we stay no Bowers plz need O line!
Doubt this will happen bcuz the Cards also want multiple picks but I'd take 27 and 35 and then trade out of the 1st rd altogether for multiple 2nds and 3rds.
I think any trade up or down should include Allen to get cap space and maybe jfm. That’s also a good pkg for trade up to 5
Trade down to pick 12 then down to 17 would be sweet
this is a tough one! But i will say this unless we somehow trade down and get 2 2nd round picks, i would keep our 3rd and try to pick up a 2nd without giving up a 3rd. or simply trade and get a 3rd pick wiht broncos or raideers. and then use both 3rd rounders to grab a 2nd rounder or late first. idk this one is def a tough one. but if the cards are falling right, and the jets feel they can snatch someone at 22. take the 2nd rounder. and drop to 22. but i really do feel like they can trade with someone like jags without giving up a 3rd, but rather give a 4th. so that would be my number one choice.
Sutton or Boyd would round out our wrs nicely, and then we can draft the best player like an OT
I like the 3rd one
Trade One, its only 1 or 2 places and we pick up a 3rd Rd pickl. I can't see Bowers being there at 17 and 22 is to far to drop back
4:14 whats up brother
Must trade back and get a 2nd round pick .
Trade 1 & add a 5th rd pick also would be sweet
Id love a trade back and then having a lineman fall to us. But i wouldnt be against an A Mitchell if we drop into the 20s and there is no top lineman left.
The eagles would be my pick here.
These are all trades that are equitable, and conform to the Trade Value Chart. Looking for a premium, even if it’s 2025 draft Capital
I say take the best blue chip OT at 10 unless they think they get the same further down the draft.
I like trade 1
Trade #1 to draft Bowers and go WR + OL in the 3rd.
Or if we can sign one more solid vet receiver (Boyd, OBJ, Chark, etc.) then I’m good with trade #2 and take BPA between Bowers or OL.
Trade #3, MIMS and Xavier Legette, plus a 4th rounder...
Trade 1 ok,2 better unless Marvin Harrison or Alt is available then stay at 10.
moving up a couple spots to 10 would be a 2nd round pick.
I like trade # 2 the wr options tantalize me. Sign Rodgers buddy guard coming off injury, and draft an O - lineman.
As sacrilegious as this may sound, if JD moves back to the late teens and gets a 2nd rounder for the move, then I’d be open to jump off my soap box of offense only in this draft and I’d be open to a Cooper DeJean assuming a Guyton Fautanu type OT isn’t available, then I’d go best WR/OT in the second and 3rd
Trade #2
Trade #1 only works if there's still a top-4 QB on the board. Current consensus is that there won't be.
Uncle Mikey like it, want safety cinchens in 3rd, if we move up ñabers, if we stand fuaga. Oh trade up 4 although too!
Although! Lol
Alt Damn auto correct
Alt
Alt
The 3rd option
Trade no.2
Trade #1
Hey Ryan, if we take the Eagles trade, how high could we come up if we package #22 and one of our 4th round picks?
Pick 21 using pick 135 as a package. Pick 20 if packaging 111
You have to get more back from the Eagles. 1300 points for 10th pick, 1180 points for the 22nd and 50th picks.
The trade that matches up is:
Jets give:
10th
72nd
Eagles give:
22nd
50th
50rd
I’d trade down and take worthy
Scenario # 1, take Bowers. Trade both 3rd for a second round pick.
Are we trying to 'win now' or not?
This is what happens when you don’t lose correctly cause we could’ve been dropping from number three or 4 to 6 or seven
I only want Brock Bowers if we plan on using all 3 of our TEs….. Conklin, Ruckert and Bowers with multiple plays gettting them all involved…. If not we are wasting a pick….. Conklin and Rukert are talented
I’m good I’m not taking any of those offers lol give me an impact player at 10
Going back to value chart the Jets would have to include the 185th pick
Jets give:
10 (1300)
72 (230)
185 (17.4)
Total (1547.4)
Eagles give:
22 (780)
50 (400)
53 (370)
Total (1550)
Simple trade back with eagles get brian thomas jr. He is going to be better than nabers. Just like when people were saying chase is better than jefferson. Get a depth lineman on day 2 or 3. Deep draft class of tackles.
Option 1, take Bowers or Odunze in R1, and then best OL and best S or RB in R3
#2
Dont outsmart yourself, take a tackle. You want to trade down a few spots because you're sure you get a tackle, fine. The TE isn't going to help if you can't protect AR8
Drafting a DT would solve all of these problems
You mean DE
Don’t like any of those choices. Stay at 10 get best available. Hopefully versatile OT
Trade down to the 20s take wr Leggett from sc I think he's gonna b the best wr in this draft
Not trading for a 3rd. If not a second I'm not trading. I'm a top 10 and you want to trade within a top 10 you give me what I want or beat it. Next
Why would we trade down and get 2 or 3 decent draft pick. Instead they should select the best player available.
Bowers may not pass the 8 pick and If they don't have Odunze or Brian T jr available there trade back.
@ bksoljah924… I totally agree w/ u. I like the fact if we can’t get who we want at 10.. I wouldn’t mind trading down w/ Jax to 17 and get a 2nd rounder. But why the hell would we ever think of giving them our 3rd round pick. They are moving up 7 spots to get the player they want and we have to give them our 3rd round pick as well? No way Ryan, I disagree big time!! What are we.. the caregivers of the NFL. Do other teams think we’re morons? I can’t believe JD would do that. If any thing, give them our 7th round last compensatory pick… that’s the price Jax has to pay for moving up.. That’s just the way it is… 👍 Maybe we should just take Bowers if he’s there at 10. Odunze will probably go at 9 to the Bears..
Seattle: I live in Seattle - pinex at 16 bowers won’t be there at 16. But in any trade down scenario I get best OL and Ladd mcconkey he is a Wes Welker or Edelman type. KC wants him bad. If I don’t trade down I get alt or fashanu and sign Quadre Diggs safety he can hit- not like Witherspoon but he had 4-5 interceptions last year and can knock your block off. I use some kind of trade to get into 2nd round but I don’t think Mcconkey will be there. Or stay at 10 get odunze and sign Bakhtari cheap and Quadre diggs. I do not think bowers is the next George Kittle. He can’t block and Aaron has Ruckert and Conklin. So I got OL draft Mcconkey Quadre Diggs sign and Bakhtari cheap backup Tyron Smith
This regime is on the proverbial “HOT SEAT!”
I don't anticipate Joe trading down because if they're expected to win, they’ll be drafting in the high twenties next year.
Swap with LV and get Adams then draft Bowers at 13
I like the idea of getting adams for 10 and getting a lineman at 13 then the weapon in the second round isn't even needed plus u get an extra lineman in case tyrod gets injured
I think Ryan tried to say similar and comparable but fucked it up.
Q why are you wearing #74? Thats a big boi #. Thats like seeing an 500 lbs person Wearing a Mahomes Jersey. Makes literally no sense. Im a giant and i wear a Tippmann Jersey. But anyways glad i can FINALLY comment on your channel ☺️
Odunze or Bowers is a stupid pick at 10. Only take a WR if you trade down (15-18) and get a pick in the second or third round where you can take a developmental tackle. You can’t count on Smith and Moses to play the whole season. Be smart JD!!!
Btw I'm not giving any asset whatsoever.
Trade up and get Joe alt
