- Here it is finally! The highest quality vinyl rip you can find of Thomas Bangalter's Riga (Take 5) track in its full 14 minutes glory!
Credit for this rip goes to the amazing Daft Punk collector historian @crydajam on twitter
i hope they will continue to do solo projects even if they are done as daft punk... so sad right now ❤️
This is a new start, I think theres heavy stuff coming
thomas work a lot whit music movies, and coming soon we have a movio of Dario Argento, whit the last of DP
@@matiaskretzer5971 Actually that rumor of a soundtrack was a misinterpretation. It was just them being interested to work with Dario.
Thomas is probably sick of doing commercial projects and wants to get back to what he’s passionate about. He doesn’t need money and he doesn’t need Grammy’s. He’s has all that. Now it’s about happiness and happiness in his household.
@@Music-yt7xo Yeah, i think the same, for climax thomas release a few track whit a lot of his techno, detroit style, i think (hope) he continue whit this projects
"RIGA BACK TO THE PUNK, COME ON!!" ;D
@PivotStories True that, but it's also a bangin' track.
If this was food, Gordon Ramsey would smack it down hard cause this shit SO RAW
Ain't no microwaves up in these club bangers!
i love how this builds up,, it totally gives me the vibe of alive 1997!!
One of the greatest performances of all time!
This is much more on par with vitalics la rock
reminds me much of Alive1997. Very very cool how it slowly builds up.
So interesting to feel like hearing a little bit of both Indo Silver Club and Irreversible OST at the same time.
And a little bit of drive
@@Erick12052and a little bit of Tron
so much nostalgia once hearing it back now 😔 thomas bangalter always a genius
More like boffin !

The four people who disliked this have no taste.
They have no life, all but lifeless husks, and that's all they'll ever be.
I’m so happy I’ve found this. Been digging deeper into what the guys have made individually.
Heh this would fit in Tron perfectly, like a glove.
11:00
Nope. This part would fit Tron much more because it sounds already like Derezzed: 9:50 ;)
He’s back !
no
Thank you for uploading!!! :)
God, I wish this was in higher quality.
Se nota quién aportó el estilo en TRON Legacy.
Sounds like a Juno 106 and a drum machine. nice!
Maybe a sampler
ok now this is epic
This is so good. Current electronic should pack it up and think on it.
Dope track! Bangalter is the final boss! 🔥🔥🔥
I was born in Riga. So ir is very imortant track for me.
Riga Back to the Chicago house !!
how he can play with just a loop...
Master
He transform one sequence all the time(attack, release, delay, reverb, cutoff) and work with rhythm.
I heard some organ on background.
Smells like good treasure found 😮
Ruthless !!
Bang alter just hits different
Wish the end part was longer tbh. Despite this already being quite the extensive track.
Fkn love it!!!
Sounds like it could fit in Hotline Miami
Without Daft Punk and a few other House producers of the 90’s, we probably wouldn’t have had all the synthwave stuff that came later.
:( imma miss daft punk
any chance you can provide a download link for the FLAC?
Il a refait enfin de la bonne musique 👍
@@Dilan_Duck RAM est excellent dans un autre style... Homework hmmm excellent
ils feront plus style homework a 50 balais ils sont sur autre chose le homework resteras une légende
I guess techno’s coming back in fashion then ?
When has techno been in fashion? enlighten me? Techno is anti fashion
@@albionpatterns3986 For most of musical history, only in niche circles. Daft Punk is an incredibly rare example of a band with such an unconventional style that actually managed to hit global success. Most of their compatriots making this kind of music never even got close. And this was all long before the 2010's EDM craze. I guess you could say the robots really did Get Lucky. ;)
@@calebdonaldson8770 Yeh I guess you are right, with a little help from Soma
i love these pure synthie modulation and 909 drum machine patterns. any clue what syhnth he has used? SH-101?
Moog maybe

How did he make the synth which program or tool
using an analog mono synth, most likely an sh-101 with an arpeggio.
@@matthew909_ thank you so much
@@matthew909_ no he used an juno106 for his early work. A friend who worked with him told me a few years ago.
If you have to ask, just dont ask..

What is this song
Riga (Take 5)
EPIC MUCH…? Lol…
.....
poor version of unreleased 'Drive'
Drive is really rough imo. This track is slick, and not as loud.
You've ебанулся.
Daft punk sucked after Homework, this is the stuff they were good at. RAVE STUFF.
funny
amusing
@@Agux909 Prout dans ta bouche
I kinda agree. I’ve always been less a fan of their commercial pop albums, than their underground House stuff. But they didn’t stop making this sort of music after Homework. They released all their solo House stuff on Roule.
