I really enjoyed this breakdown! Especially because you explain basics as well as more advanced aspects. I think both beginners, intermediate and advanced players would enjoy this type of content. In the future, maybe you could have a series focusing on the fundamentals and another one focusing on the different playstyles for the different lanes/characters. Looking forward to the upcoming content! :)
Absolutely love this kind of content, keep it up ! About the 1v1 happening at 12:41 it is worth mentionning that the Pocket did miss a parry attempt, and this is why MikaelS punched him to death. An unsuccessful parry puts the parry action on cooldown for 5 seconds or so.
Haven't felt this excited about a new game in a while! Quite a steep learning curve if youve never played a MOBA, so these breakdowns help to form a mental model for how to think about the game
This is phenomenal content. I would love to see more of this! I think with this much detail I’d love to see another analysis of the next 10-15 minutes. So, 10 minute mark when lane phase ends to the 20-25 minute mark when end game starts. Then finally a video capturing analysis of end game. One thing to note, 3:03 you mention they nerfed it so that you can only ever deny half. Thats true, for the first 10 minutes. After 10 minutes you deny 100% of the souls. Theres also soul sharing differences that happens with duo lanes that change at 10 minutes
Ah yes! Good points, I totally forgot to mention that indeed, thank you! Yeah, I was considering going into the midgame in this vod, but then I figured it'd end up being really long and wanted to see how the format was received first. I'll definitely do this though!
as a moba beginner this is hella helpful, you are great at explaining things. found your stuff through the minigod interview. cool to see you on this game
Hearing your switch away from val excited me as I'm primarily a CS player who only watched your aim content. I also am completely addicted to Deadlock right now. Very excited to see your new content man.
Is it just me that thinks this guy is aimbotting? His tracking is basically unbelievable. He is literally completely locked on when the enemy is moving around like a squirrel on coke
I was just having the same conversation with someone. Its really odd to watch. He has like wristbreaker, perfect start/stop flicks to spirits occasionally- but doesnt even have a flick style when fighting players (like four year old cousin on madcatz controller levels if you were Tenzlike at static flicking). That was red flag number 1. Second, a big thing that jumped out at me was the first engagement. Hes playing the cover so close and not pieing so he never has vision of where the enemy is- instead choosing to keep his crosshair middle wall for some kind of reaction shot (if no vision assistance). I just dont think youd find anyone who plays at high levels of fps actively wanting to take the fight in that way. Third one is the bouts of very robotic tracking, especially close range (like you mentioned, Huggsmd). Again, its kind of like the flicking example: if you have a process of very good tracking- its doable- but also would be repeatable. Think someone like Serious' lg. I say all that to say: im not saying hes cheating for sure. Maybe theres an explanation like he does have inconsistent mechanics but is 3 steps ahead of the meta or an inconsistent mindset. Its just something to keep a note on, because its seemingly VERY odd and breaks all conventions.
As somebody new to the game and discouraged, this was very helpful. Clear and concise info.

yo! been following you for a long time. Deadlock is great, glad to see you covering it.
Appreciate the support! Yea, can't wait to do more.
DDK hopping on this Deadlock train puts a smile on my

Learing deadlock fundamentals seems like a great series to do!
I'm addicted to this game!

Hell yeah
Love to see what kind of stuff you drop for this new game. The shadow line of sight thing is called a veil in game.
Ahhh yes. Ty 😁
Really like this content. Maybe a series for all the #1 hero’s?
Please more Deadlock videos. Sick and tired of Valorant.
i enjoy this game a lot, the only thing i majorly dislike is my framerate, it drops to like 20 in endgame at times
interesting!
Let's go Daniel, the Deadlock train is a-go. Unfortunately aim is really not that important in this game...
true. but that shouldn't be a problem imo.
I need this, I'm a total noob
