Bro been trying to look for days for a sure gurantee of the bulb type for this car since I'm about to change out the radio soon. Rather do it in one go. Thanks for showing some support to the corolla gang 🤟🏽
Bro this video helped me so much, my old ones were dead when I got the car and didn’t know you can change them. How do you replace the rear window defroster light? Or how do you take it out
Glad I was able to help you out! The defroster light comes out similarly to the other lights, turn the bulb with a flathead screwdriver and pop it out, you might need to turn the whole middle piece upside down to get it to fall out You should be able to access the bulb from the top of the switch once you pop out the climate control panel. Thanks for the comment!
Hi Will how did you replace the AC and the other like for vent?Is that the 2 that is mounted on the black plastic?Or you did on the actual knob?I did replace the LED on that black plastic (mounted on top) but i cant see any ilumination on the AC switch and vent tia
The bulbs on the top are for the A/C, recirculate, and rear defroster buttons. The bulbs for the backlight illumination are on that white plastic behind the center controls. They're tricky to get to and definitely require patience. It helps a lot if you can remove that white piece, or you can do like I did and move it so the back faces upwards which will make it easier to remove the bulbs. Sorry if this explanation is confusing, if you have more questions feel free to reply to this comment!

Nice! Quick update on my end I blacked out my grill, painted my wheels black and did my brake calipers red. I’m doing my research now on how to paint my headliner black. My interior is black but the headliner and a few trims are gray. Hate it

Hey will, I’m struggling to take the white compartment out to unscrew the bulbs on the Corolla, Ik you unclip the sides first but isn’t there a step after that?
I disconnected the lines that connect to the controls, and twisted it around enough until I could have the lights facing up. Hope this is even the slightest bit helpful

Hey I have a 2007 corolla LE and would like to know how to replace the corolla instrument dash lights. My uncle owns a 2002 model and it's easier for him since the lights were plus and play.I went to the mechanic and the lights are integrated into the computer dash and so what would I have to replace? I want to change the light to blue led respond as soon as you can thanks!
Depends on which cluster you have, if it's the standard one then the bulbs should just be a direct swap. If it's the optitron cluster like mine, I'm not exactly sure how those are set up, and if bulbs can be swapped in or not
The HVAC bulbs are T4.2 (10mm base) and the gear selector bulb is a 194. The HVAC bulbs I used are no longer available which is why they're not linked. Thanks for your comment!
