    I honestly thought you were spitting coolant until you explained it. I think it's amazing you can have a 1300hp+ 4cyl on the road and reliable. Very impressive. I guess the next trick is connecting 1300hp with the track properly. Looking forward to watching that.

      When radiators turn into balloons you know something is going on. At 40 psi we would just see coolant pressure increase to 20-30psi. When the leak gets worse and the gasket blows through it skyrockets- the initial rise is when you know your on the limit. Most k- series guys I know of have no issue till 35psi of boost snd the it accelerates. It’s all fun! 🍻

      good to hear you talk about coolant P. Ive had issues with coolant P for years! dry deckign like you have can be dangerous though as when the gasket does leak ( Wich you cant see now) it will destroy the head and possibly the block as you wont know its leaking. wet settup gives you that indication

    Killing it Brendo , it is alot of work for the HP gain but its also alot safer as far as fluid going under the wheels with the old set up pushing coolant , and the reliabitlity now will be perfect for drag and drive .

    Sounds good under the hood, but knowing 60 psi is just gonna feel miserable. I like it 👌 but i feel like a j32 on 26 Psi would be a much better experience

    I know changing to 200 series is easier but a good fix for those push locks is the use the ear cinch pinch clamps instead of a dirty hose clamp lol works well and looks clean

    I'm certain you're losing closer to 20% through the drivetrain at this level of power. You lose more % the higher the power you make. ~20% of 1600 flywheel hp would be 320hp turned into heat through the drivetrain or about the 1300rwhp you made👍 seems spot on.

    I went straight to 200 series teflon on our latest build as I wanted the reliability , unfortunately I've run a couple bits of pushlock but it's only under 13psi of pressure so fingers crossed 😁 always good to see you guys making good steps forward and can't wait to see the times it can run with the extra push

    I had the same issue with the G42, the issue I think (I'm not that smart) when you look at the 45 compressor map, when you go high up on the pressure ratio (small motor big boost) you go way off the efficiency map at the top right of the map.

    • @autoperfectionk24
      @autoperfectionk24  4 месяца назад +1

      It was making good HP per psi of boost and just come to a wall and turbo speed proved it. We fitted a pressure sensor pre intercooler to see pressure drop and wasn’t substantial so that should eliminate throttle body/intercooler/intake manifold being a restriction
