    Rosen
    Savoie
    Ostlund
    Kulich
    Benson
    Walhberg
    Kisakov
    Poltapov
    Strbak
Are our top, high end prospects. With the amount of 2nders we have - our 1st rounders should be off limits in trade proposals for the next year from now…..until we better understand what we have

Alex Kisakov has 17 points in 74 AHL games for .23 PPG...calling that a "top, high-end prospect" is incredibly laughable.
Poltapov isn't that in any way, shape, or form, either...he can't stick in the KHL as a bottom-6 player.

Never a bad thing to have a surplus of quality centers. I'm open to moving Mittelstadt for a higher end piece(s). Preferably a top pairing Right shot defenseman. Give Krebs a bit more of a look while surrounded by higher talent to, if anything. Increase his value. Then also look at moving high price players like Skinner. Would probably be necessary to retain some salary. I love him when he's on his game. But as big of a scoring asset he his. He's just as big of a liability in his own end.

I don't trust Adams to make a good trade. He has to answer to Pegreasy who has the opposite of the Midas touch.

Build that team in 2-3 years...use all the other pieces to fill in the question marks in the meantime.
Savoie, Rosen and Kulich don't fit on this team. They're not top-line players and they're not bottom-6 players. The Sabres are set in the middle-6.
Levi also does not fit on this team. He could be a backup to Luukkonen, but eventually he'll need to be moved, might as well get the most value for him.
Ryan Johnson does not fit this team. He's not a long term 7th defenseman and he's not a top-4 RHD. Get something for him.
You need a long-term top-line LW too, to replace Skinner in 2-3 years when you trade him in that final year. You can't sit Savoie/Rosen/Kulich in Rochester that long.
Package some of these prospects with your pick this year to get Cayden Lindstrom...the best power forward. (Or the best RHD, but you should trade for that ready-made.)
Long story short, there's not enough room. Lol.

Right now, I'd be looking to try Benson at center. He can stick handle, is a good playmaker, and is already one of the most defensively responsible forwards the Sabres have on the roster. You know who isn't a center? Thompson. Terrible at faceoffs, not a particularly good stick handler, questionable defensively in the D-zone and is in no way shape or form a playmaker. He does have a bazooka for a shot. He should not be handling the puck much at 5-on-5 but should instead be looking for the soft areas in which to accept passes and unleash his bomb of a shot. Similar to his primary role on the PP. I'm thinking about how Brett Hull scored the majority of his goals. Unleashing rockets from the area of the faceoff circles or the high slot. Plus, I think Thompson's shot kind of makes "The Golden Brett's" shot seem like a peashooter by comparison. In nearly 60 years of watching hockey, I've never really seen a shot like the ones Thompson can discharge when the cannon is fully loaded. And, I'm not talking much better sticks made of graphite and other new age materials as the mani reason why although they don't hurt. Thompson's size (height), flexibility, length of his stick and speed of his swing give him the leverage, torque and force he generates to literally crush the puck.

As we get closer to the “spring season?” 😂😂. I’m sorry but I’m sick and tired of all this talk of more kids in the Sabres system, as the Sabres continue to miss the playoffs for 13 consecutive years this “spring season.”

  • @bjarczyk

This is why Sabres fans need to understand and get behind what Kevyn Adams’ plan actually is. Not overreacting and making stupid moves just because we want to make the playoffs right now. The goal is to develop the team into a Stanley Cup champion and be good for a decade plus.

    • @WideTier
      @WideTier 3 месяца назад +1

Great. Since you understand it so well, explain Adams’ plan in terms of how many more teams will win Stanley Cups before the Sabres, and please include which decade his Sabres will compete for the Cup every year.

So you are happy missing the playoffs for 13 and probably 14 years in a row if Adams brings back granato and his cast of misfits coaching staff next season? Lets see how many if these prospects actually play a game for the Sabres . Hopefully this girgenson okposso olofsson bryson jost last season in buffalo .

You have to be good for one year, before you can be good for a decade...and Adams can't even do that.
