I would add that this 'sense of exploration' is what I've been missing for so long from other MMO's. They've all become theme parks on rails these days. Quest hub A to Quest hub B, and fast travel everywhere with no travel danger.

I will say though I got a bit turned around after your run in with the Ogre Infiltrator especially since it was dark, but fortunately I was close enough to Demith at that point I was able to use the Shalazam map to get me the rest of the way. So a buddy surprised me. Was trying to win a key through your giveways or try and get a key. Anyways I haven't stopped by your twitch cause i been playing Pantheon!! Sadly he started on a different server. He's been on vacation and trying to catch up. Started in Wild's End and he's in TF, and i can/need to run to TF. lol .. I have been stuck and try using a map via browser... Then I saw you pop online on Twitch, and was like "Oh! I believe this dude made a video of this run!". TLDR: Have game, am lost in Wild End and remembered during one of your streams that you said you made a video of this run! THANK YOU JADEON!
Well deserved like. I just ran this along with you blind on a level 1 cleric with no deaths. Your vid going on one monitor while I ran on the other monitor. Took me about an hour as my head was on a swivel and I would stop now and then to make sure I was passing the same trees and landmarks but overall there were only a few spots in the journey where I was a little nervous.
Everquest 2 has always been my fav mmo! I tried to play EQ after 10 years of playing EQ2 and couldn't get into it. I think I was spoiled from some of the short cuts they made in EQ2 lol, but I'm enjoying Pantheon!! Thanks for the video!
You can also save a few silver coins and look for a high level wizard lvl 15+ (you can search for them in the lfg interface), he will port you right away to Thronefast. You just give him a tip and the next minute you are in Thronefast. Wizard port does not port you to the city, but its about 2minutes from there. Remember , first thing upon arriving is to bind yourself! If you did not bind yourself in Thronefast and die, you will appear again in Wild,s end. If you dont know Thronefast just ask the Wizard who ported you where is the nearest bind stone.
Man I was trying to follow your path and got REALLY lost! I ended up on a huge rock spire city area. Of course I am only level 11 and EVERYTHING in this zone is KOS RED. I'm somewhere in Silent Plains. -150 by -769
I would definitely recommend going up to get the bind stone near Halnir's Cave first. I couldn't make the run to the other town you went to but was easily able to get Halnir's Cave bind saving me the entire run from Wilds End. Then it was short runs learning to get to Thronefast
Very cool video. I had been looking for a couple days for that zone line and I had been in that area many times but the red Orcs and owlbears kept me just out of reach. Lol I noticed you have a macro called "Locate Corpse"? What does it do? Is it a / command that helps point in the direction of your corpse or at least target your corpse?
On the Pantheon map, If you zoom in, there is a mountain pass called "Mad Run" going from AVP to Eastern Plains. Is this mountain pass in the game? Have you found it? Have you done a video on it?
Yeah it's there, but since it's an overworld dungeon running through it would be suicide at lower levels. Maybe at higher levels it could serve as a convenient short cut.
Ok, im trying to do this now, but once it got dark on your screen i could never tell exactly where you were. You need the movement buttons on your hotkey also set to spam /loc. I'm hanging on the edge of a cliff right now too scared to go foward or backward with a bear who keeps growling below me. *edit* ok i made, it but it was a bit frustrating.

Haha. All good. The video was great information. Dodging KOS mobs while leading a band of players isn't easy. It also makes it more difficult that Wilds End doesn't seem to have very many good landmarks to reference.
Unfortunately I will have to make the reverse run here soon. I just realized when I got all the way from wild's End to Thronefast that I can only turn in my crafting quests back in wild's End. Ugh

I had all this cool Ranger kit I wanted to pass off to my awesome elvish ranger but guess that's out welp at least I am on at the first bindstone. did my 2nd run died cloooose to the bind stone in A.Pass. Got a cleric to get and res me, but they couldn't see me, thou I hadn't released and I could see them run across my corpse....prob because Im lvl 1. daaaang

Im having memory leak issue unfortunately, i hope they can fix this without me needing to buy a new laptop for the game, because i actually bought my current laptop 4 years ago precisely to play pantheon ! :)
That would be super sweaty players no lifing for a month, I think the average player will take many months to hit max level. Like 4+ We're 1 week into EA with experienced players and most are around 10.
The general route was helpful but my fucking god dude, turning the camera so much makes it hard to track where ur going. Died a number of times trying to realize which direction u suddenly turned to

i appreciate him making this video though. for anyone attempting to do this one a low lvl, my recommendation is follow everything until the lake in the pass. hug the right edge of that lake like he says, and then go v v slow, making ur way to the rock wall in front of you. spiders are far and away the biggest threats. everywhere and hard to see. slowly make it to the wall, hug the wall and go forward, until you see a camp looking thing. hug the hill edge its on, then go back to hugging the wall. eventually youll make it to an area where you can see the gate of the city and possibly an ally roaming guard. make it to the gate, the bind stone is outside the gate to the left
You got me killed right at the end.. That part when you get to AV passed the lake you're running around in circle fighting bears and then it's nightfall. You don't give any landmark or any tips as to what road to follow which leads in an area pack with mobs. You don't take any summoning stones beside the one in the starting elf city... an hour of my life wasted.
If leveling is super slow then I guess a killbot is needed. The goal needs to be to have a lot of fun in 2 hours. Group content that involves a quest being completed and that being the best way to level, seems the only way. Junk mob killing for EXP is basically multibox soloing. So I'm praying that the devs have that figured out
The essence of an. Mmo is that you play it with other people. If you can't come up with free form objectives on your own you are likely to be bored. You aren't trying to reach "the end" rather have adventures in a fantasy world with friends
Considering your fellow players to be bots whose only value is to help you kill things for exp seems like a pretty poor mentality to have going in. I can see how it could be hard to have fun in a social setting when your mindset is completely goal-oriented and inflexible.
@The_left_hand_pillar I've tried and understand what you say. That's just not the majority of what happens. Everquest for example heads right into raids. It isnt a questing roleplay game with respect to non solo. EQ 2 was jammed with quests. I did all 3000 before the first expansion. Vanguard was much more about reaching the end of dungeons and that's what I'm hoping Pantheon will be more like.

I'm a slow leveler these days, and when friends can't play with me because they're higher level.. it turns the entire thing into trying to fucking level
I died in pass 3 times, took me over 4 hours and died again. No ty, fuck this shit. I get that in 5 years when the game finaly releases there might be more to do in wilds end so I dont have to go to thronefall. But ffs we are supposte to test the game... Im not gonna deal with this shit. Its just unfun and a waste of time. Nothing hardcore about this, nothing hard about this. Just a spit in my evenings limited time.

I would say Do this before Level 5 at best because at Level 5 you be leaving your Corpse behind.
seeing enemies climb would be cool, but i agree that just having them run and reset to full hp is a good solution

I think these quests have to be completed where they began.
