You've been my favorite artist for around 4 years and you still manage to blow my mind every time. This entire album just felt SO FRESH, legit stuff I never even expected to hear. You really outdid yourself this time!
Camellia is probably the most amazing artist I'm following now, and I'll follow him for a long time. Definitely my favorite artist, he can produce so many genres yet doing amazing songs for each one of them. Congrats Camellia, you're the best music producer in my opinion and I hope you'll grow even more popular with the years ! ^w^
ok so I was supper exited when you did that one eurobeat remix of baka mi tai, but now I find out you're releasing a new album with a full flavor song and a steampunk, or at least as close to typical steampunk music I feel is likely to come from Camellia, given you're genre, and then also freaking speed metal, like what in the world?, also did I just read FREE?! oh heck yeah!!!!!
From the bottom of my heart, Thank You for all of these releases you've been making over the last few years. You cannot imagine how much I treasure this album in particular. You've inspired me greatly. Your songs have accompanied me in the toughest of times. Thank you.
Camellia, even though you probably aren't going to read this, I want you to know that you are the best musician ever. I don't know anyone with songs that can even compare to yours, and I wish that I can make my music as good as your music is someday, even though I know that it's impossible. And this album is just insane. Second favorite album by you!
Okay, it’s been a day since the album has been released, and I figured I would do a preliminary ranking of every song. First, I just want to say thank you to Camellia, who has exceeded our expectations once again by releasing an entire ALBUM to say thanks to his fans, and also having said album being one of his best yet. I love this album as a whole, and I cannot thank you enough for making it. We don’t deserve you. Now let’s get on with the rankings! NOTE: THIS IS MY OPINION. Please feel free to disagree with me, I won’t care. 10. BAD ACCESS (FROM A MOE MAID) - This is the only song on the album I didn’t like. Techdance is not my favorite genre by a long shot, and whatever else Camellia put in there doesn’t make it better. The first drop has a really weird sound, to the point where it barely sounds like a drop, and is one of my least favorite from Cameilla in a while. The second drop is much better, mainly because of the melody, but it still feels lacking in some way. I really enjoy Camellia’s melodies, and his songs without a central melody always feel off. I will give this points for originality, because it is one of the most unique songs on the album, but overall it’s one of the more dissapointing Camellia songs I’ve heard. 9. 1nput This 2 Y0ur Spine - I certainly like this song much more than Bad Access, but overall it’s nowhere near one of Camellia’s best. That being said, it’s still pretty fricking good. Obviously the highlight is the Breakbeat drop, which has this really chaotic energy. However, this was one of my least favorite parts-the aforementioned chaotic-ness about it doesn’t mesh well with the rest of the song. I also think some of the metal bits, especially early in the song, were very basic and could’ve been developed more. Other than that, the song is really good, though. The genre fluctuations in the drops are really well done and I love that deep drum sound in the second verse. Overall a pretty decent song that sadly is vastly overshadowed by the other metal song in this album. 8. Dance with Silence - Now we are getting into the songs that I really enjoy, which given how much of the album is left just goes to show you how good it is. I really enjoy the melodies in this one, especially in the second drop. I think the parts without a clear melody are done much better than in other songs in this album, and I really like how chill the whole song is. The second verse is a really good callback to the first drop and works pretty seamlessly into the final and most chaotic drop. However, Complextro is not one of my favorite genres, and honestly, I listen to Camellia for huge drops and bold sounds. I can compare this to a suped-up version of Embracing Intelligences, one of my least favorite songs on Heart of Android. I enjoy this song, and I respect that there are a lot of people who love this song, but It’s not really for me. 7. Fly Wit Me - Now this is a song for me. When I first heard this I was a little disappointed and initially put it below Dance with Silence, but I’ve been listening to it more and I’ve changed my mind. This song is really good. The vocals are actually some of the best I've seen from Camellia. They work really well with the song as a whole, especially the first drop, which is a really vibey, almost psystyle drop. I think the thing that really sells this though is the second drop, which is one one of the best melodic drops in this album, on par with Zero Gravity Space or Terabyte Connection. The main reason I ended up placing this higer was because the drop melody has been in my head all day and I realized I that wasn’t making me like the song less. My main problem with this song is that it feels a little basic compared to a lot of the songs of this album, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s an incredibly high-quality song. 6. Compute It With Some Devilish Alcoholic Steampunk Engines - ElectroSwing is a really underappreciated genre, and adding hardcore to that formula makes it so much better. Camellia has already done this before with Nasty Nasty Spell, but whereas that felt more like a test of the genre, this feels like Camellia going seeing how far he can go. The melodies are much better and the pace is faster. I love the different instruments used, like saxophone, piano, and this weird trumpet-like sound that is a staple of the 1920’s and 30s. Nasty Nasty Spell is one of my favorite Camellia songs, and while I don’t think this one is on par with it in pure quality, it’s definitely very close and deserves a spot high on this list. 5. Tera I/O - This album is full of what I would consider to be classic Camellia songs, which are 2 drop songs with a bpm of 170-200 and an experimental first drop and a melodic-hardcore second drop, and this song is no exception to that rule. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not amazing. The most unique thing about this is the metal in the first verse and the first drop, which I actually think adds a lot. Camellia said in the premiere that the first drop is made up of quinituplets, which I have legitimately never heard of before, but it sounds good so it doesn’t matter. The second drop, however, is where the song really shines. The melodies and genre switches are fast-paced and masterfully done, and it’s one of the best Camellia drops I’ve ever heard. I don’t really have any problems with this song, and the only reason it’s not higher is simply I like the other songs better. However, this song has definitely grown on me and it might move up in my rankings in the future. 4. B0dy F10ating in the Zero Gravity Space - This song has been called a spiritual successor to Exit This Earth’s Atomosphere, which is my favorite Camellia song of all time, and I think that comparison is mostly accurate. I would more consider this as part of a trilogy, with Beyond the Geostationary Orbit Level as the middle song. Each of these feels like an evolution of the last, as Camellia’s style changes from year to year. While I don’t think it holds up to the mind-numbing power of the Exit drops, it’s still pretty fricking good. This one feels a bit more subdued than the other two, with a quieter base and a more complicated sound as opposed to Exit’s bolder, simpler melodies. This song is definitely making it’s way onto my playlist, and I am very happy to put this amazing, albeit a bit simple, song where it belongs. 3. Flamewall - Remember when I said that 1nput This 2 Y0ur Spine was vastly overshadowed by the other metal song on this album? Yeah, this is that song. I know I’m only putting this at the #3 spot on this album, but this is the closest I think this album has come to producing a true work of art. Camellia refers to it as “Symphonic Speed Metal,” which I think is accurate in conveying the sheer uniqueness of this song. I’ve heard a lot of people compare it to an artist named Noah, with whom I am unfamiliar with, but regardless of having the style be similar this is probably one of the best Camellia songs I have ever listened to. A lot of people have said it sounds like an epic anime opening or an rpg boss battle, and I can’t agree more. Each melody feels unique and perfectly placed, the consistent metal drum beat resonates perfectly with the fast-paced guitar-even the violin feels like it was meant to be there. The only word I can use to describe this song is “Beautiful.” Though it’s only at Number 3 for me, I think along with my number 1 pick this will go down in history as one of Camellia’s best songs of all time. 2. +ERABY+E CONNEC+10N - If you asked me why I ranked this song so high, I’m not sure I could give you a full answer. By all means, it feels like a classic hardcore/speedcore Camellia song. Yet there’s something there that brings it above everything else to not only one of my favorite Hardcore Camellia songs, but legitimately one of my favorite songs of all time. The distorted vocals, the layered melodies, the mind-blowing drops, the piano in the second drop, the hardcore end of the first drop, even the fricking speedcore parts are amazing. This song takes everything that this album has shown itself capable of producing and combines it into a final product that takes the cake as probably my favorite song on this album. The only reason this is not my number 1 song is because of the sheer accomplishment of the remaining song, but if this list was just my pure enjoyment, this would be my number 1 song hands down. 1. M1LLION PP - 3 words: Oh My God. When Camellia called this song “Full Flavor” he was not joking. This song has over 20 genres represented, and to have each one be legitimately interesting and enjoyable to listen to is a massive accomplishment. Even Nacreous Snowmelt, Camellia’s other “Full Flavor” song, doesn’t have nearly as meany genres. On top of that, this song manages to have a sort of cohesion throughout it’s 7-minute runtime, and although I think Nacreous Snowmelt has a better sense of structure, this song is still absolutely amazing. This is truly Camellia at his best, as it perfectly shows his complete mastery over almost every edm genre. This song seems to have taken inspiration from Camellia’s entire career, and while I in no means wish this to be the case, if any of his songs would work as a finale to his career, a last song of his to ever be released, this would be the best one. This is a true testament to Camellia as an artist and will hopefully go down in history as one of the greatest rhythm-game-type songs to ever be released. So that was my ranking! Wow, that was longer than I thought it would be. If you made it this far, thank you for reading my essay on my favorite artist. Please feel free to reply with your own rankings of these songs, I’d really like to see how people’s tastes differ from my own!
So I actually think it's really cool that our ratings are almost the exact opposite. It speaks to camellias diversity, listenibility, and uniqueness. 1. Fly Wit Me 2. Flamewall 3. BAD ACCESS (FROM A MOE MAID) 4. Dance With Silence 5. Compute It With Some Devilish Alcoholic Steampunk Engines 6. Body Fl0ating in the Zero Gravity Space 7. MILLION PP 8. Terabyte Connection 9. Tera 1/0 10. 1nput This 2 Y0ur Spine I tend to prefer Camellias melodic stuff, although I find every track on this album to be at least an 9/10.
I usually rank his songs based on how I felt after listening to it. Kinda like how M1LLION PP would just land automatically on top of my list just because I felt goosebumps throughout the entire song.

1. Fly Wit Me
2. Flamewall
3. BAD ACCESS (FROM A MOE MAID)
4. Dance With Silence
5. Compute It With Some Devilish Alcoholic Steampunk Engines
6. Body Fl0ating in the Zero Gravity Space
7. MILLION PP
8. Terabyte Connection
9. Tera 1/0
10. 1nput This 2 Y0ur Spine
I tend to prefer Camellias melodic stuff, although I find every track on this album to be at least an 9/10.
um can i get some tips how to be good at literature
How is Dance with Silence like Embracing Intelligences? Embracing Intelligences was like tropical house, I don’t see how it’s like complextro??
I usually rank his songs based on how I felt after listening to it. Kinda like how M1LLION PP would just land automatically on top of my list just because I felt goosebumps throughout the entire song.
Great break down.and analysis. I went and listened to the other songs you referenced and totally see it
Thanks 神りあ. I like to listen to music while cleaning my house, and even though my roof evacuated this planet's stratosphere, it was a great album none the less
