Great tips. How 'bout a video on what not to do BEFORE a workout -- specifically, how important it is to do some type of warm up. Lots of guys at my gym head straight to the heaviest weight they can lift, as soon as they walk in the door. They do no stretching, no light cardio, no lighter weights -- nothing at all to warm up. It's kinda painful to watch, actually.
Walking/LIT for 30 after weights is a cooldown. Warmup on bike/walking for 5/10 isn’t harmful whatsoever and bands or warmup sets with lower weight is ideal. People complaining about joint/muscle do what you need(NSAIDS) to do to workout but adding collagen peptide/creatine is only going to help your body…studies show they hurt your growth just like immediately jumping in a cold tub. I’m 54, 5-11, 188lbs and 11%bf and I do no cardio besides walking 5x a week for 30 minutes and lift weights 5/6x a week, 230g protein and 55% protein for macros…track on NutriitionIX. Not hard to hit if it’s important to you. 6-8 eggs daily or egg whites and supplement with whey protein…mix in different protein and workout fasted in am and on 2MAD…labs have been solid last four years I’ve checked. I average 1,000 calories and 120g protein each meal on 2MAD. Good luck everyone. 🍀
Figure out your maintenance and schedule and work from there. Look at my comments below. Before I went carnivore four years ago I was 15.5%bf and targeted 2,400calories and 250g of protein daily while hitting weights 5/6X a week. I am still heavy protein but mix in some berries daily and veggies once a week…so maintenance is 2,100 calories and 240g protein. If I couldn’t handle it I’d be fat or going to the bathroom more than once a day. Your body can handle more protein than you think and it doesn’t go to waste if you’re doing the work. If you’re unsure after you research a calorie tracker simply drop 200 calories and maintain for a week and figure out your comfort level. If I go too low say 1,500/1,600 I’ll need to add some the following few days. 2,100 works for me and I don’t eat garbage, refined sugars, refined carbs, or seed oils. Avoid alcohol for 30 days getting started gives you the best shot and limited to no alcohol helps you reach and maintain your goals. Good luck.
Wow this is a very excellent and brilliant video bro telling about this topic of the 5 worst thing to do after your workout and keep it up and keep up the good work as always and take care Keep smiling always
I built my biggest and best ever physique whilst having to take NSAIDs 3 times a day for many years and reached my genetic potential in that time also. It might not be 100% 'optimal' but it certainly doesn't hold back building muscle
In the past I sometimes trained after having a beer straight after work. Thought it was no problem because good for the blood to flow. Now I sometimes take one after the workout and my protein. Will skip this one now also. .
I usually do about 5 minutes of light cardio (elliptical / bicycle / jumping jacks) before I hit the weights. Just enough to get my blood pumping and the muscles warmed up. Really helps me.
Alcohol should be avoided in general, not just after training
He didn't mention Coke and prostitutes... I think I'm good 😅.
Hewl yeah. Enjoy your blow squared
in a study in 2019, researchers found that gains are improved when those are done at the same time
Don’t drink too much coke cos you might get diabetes from it but prostitutes is okay it’s healthy 😂
If those two things get you gains, I'd be Arnie
😅😅😅😂
Just wish you described what a good cool down should look like.
Cold shower ?hehe that's pretty cool.
Love the summary at the end of the video. Definitely going to invest more time into a cooldown routine. Great video

*Video Request/Suggestion* : Saunas. Are they good or bad after cardio and/or muscle workouts?
I'm quilty of two of these.
That changes today!
Can I do 10mins cardio everytime before lifting? Or will it hinder muscle growth?
Cool. Thanks!
good guys, what is the window defined as "post-workout period". 40min or 2 hours or 48 hours?
Very informationfull and good streaming, thankyou :)
Great video
really interested in a cool down routine now...
I'm currently doing a 24hr fast. I break my fast at 6pm today. Has anyone here ever done 24hr fasting?
Yeah, sometimes every day for a few days…drop weight fast. Easy if you eat lots of fats and protein..no carbs
I didn't eat for 43 days when I was 15 on meth in the 90s.
Everyday for a few days i dont get it. And eat fats...@cattleNhay
@@maddyboombaddybaddy6532 like 4 days in a row only eating once every 24 hours. Eating steak cooked in lard, avocado, olive oil, nuts.
I did once. My metabolism was in overdrive, I could feel the heat off my body but felt energetic after I downed a smoothie.
Haha, Alfa walking down the street like" Hey..how YOU doin"
#6 smoking post workout.
I have seen dozens of gym bros lite up a cigarette post workout.
Yep. Smoking / vaping = disastrous for serious lifting. It interferes with muscle gains, endurance, and everything else.
What about a blunt?

I think most of us over forty aren't taking meds because workout pain but do to arthritis.
Can you do a video on peptides.
i hope drinking whiskey isn’t on this list
ahhhhh, first one on the list 😂
Whiskey is fine but avoid Gin it will make you sweat.
Puts a whole new spin on the Beer tent at the end of the Triathalon....
What about cardio before weight training?
How soon after working out are we talking about for each of these?
Love all your videos.
Peace.
How about Cardio before a workout?
Light cardio only. Intense cardio before weights will probably make you lift less.
Guys I need help. I need to lose unwanted pounds. How low calories can I go . Fat loss and muscle strength and size. Thank you all.

Go to youtube, Rio at Polarity fitness has a couple of simple videos that helped me a ton.
I’m comfortable with 14 to 18 hrs
So i shouldn't play basketball the same day while going to the gym?😢
Wow this is a very excellent and brilliant video bro telling about this topic of the 5 worst thing to do after your workout and keep it up and keep up the good work as always and take care

Do people really consume alcohol after working out?
Enjoying a well deserved vodka martini 3 hrs post workout, salud 🥂
I die for 3 hours aka sleep 😅😅😅😅
My knee is blown out. I need NSAIDs.

Soreness is essential?? Wtf!
Yep, that didn't make sense. I'm guessing he meant it's inevitable rather than essential.
In the past I sometimes trained after having a beer straight after work. Thought it was no problem because good for the blood to flow. Now I sometimes take one after the workout and my protein. Will skip this one now also. .
It seems I need to give up the habit of drinking a beer after workout.
Appreciate yea
Can you do cardio Before your lift?
Generally a bad idea because it lowers your overall performance when it's time to lift. If you have to combine the two into a single day, do it after.
Thanks for the advice my man

YEPPPP ALL FACTS
What about drinking alcohol DURING your workout?
First
Ditch the background music, it's annoying and repetitive...
I like it
I like it also
I like it too. Give something to boob to
I like it too. So just mute the video and turn on closed captions :)
@@SLiCkJo Imagine suggesting muting the vid just to keep the background music and thinking that's a good idea
