Gosh, what a SOLID video! I am definitely reconsidering how I am currently displaying my designs (currently only graphic designs and no illustrations yet). And, the tips here are TOTALLY solid, experienced tips - fewer clicks absolutely make sense. Thanks greatly for sharing! 🇺🇸
the projects in his portfolio were from the time where he was studying i believe - he became a teacher for the program he was following a few years prior, so from what i know a few of his works are projects he did as assignments
Heya! Just found your channel a few days ago and binge watched. Love the content! Where can we submit our portfolios and stay updated for when the next portfolio review would be happening?
Hi! Thanks, I'm so glad you're liking the channel :) Here is a link for portfolio submissions. www.digitalpaintingstudio.com/portfolio-review If you are subscribed with the notifications switched on, then you should definitely be in the loop on our next portfolio session. We have a really cool discord community too if you're interested. Just check the descriptions in my last few videos on Character Design. Welcome!
We are definitely planning on doing this again. Thanks for your submission and I promise it will be in the discussion when we are selecting the one's we'll include.
i think for any awards that you win for certain pieces it's way better to let those art pieces speak for themselves, saying you won a challenge by artist xyz doesn't really say much, but if you clearly show the art piece with the challenge in the description it'd be way less "in your face"
I feel like the first portfolio, is just all about hey I can paint/draw an image well, it's not very creative in ideas or exspreshion and trying to express a deeper emotion in the charicter. But I do love the bright painted by the sea style, just is a little boring, I feel like I see this a lot.
