Bulgaria. May. Sunny Beach gets busier in some parts only.

- The central areas of Sunny Beach in Bulgaria now start to feel as if its proper summer season but away from this we are a week or so from that spreading out. We show the quiet areas where there are few people about, a big contrast to Flower Street where there is music, laughter and the aroma of food cooking floating in the air. The official season here on the Black Sea in Bulgaria is from 1st June but its basically when schools break up , 23rd May in 2024.

Thanks John 👍 Bad idea to live in a bar , even if it was for just the season. We have not been drinking at all in the winter now trying to work back in with a few big beers.

Glad you enjoyed it Its strange how our friends living here watch it. We are otten stopped by locals , even in surrounding villages who enjoy seeing the videos.

We try to keep the videos interesting, getting easier as season comes. Best thing we ever did was buy our apartment, hope yours is the same experience.
It's so nice to see things opening up again and the renovation work done around town. The weather has definitely improved and it makes for great times outside at the local bars. Enjoy it to the fullest and it's always nice to see you guys again.😊❤
It rained heavy yesterday afternoon but we got out after. Forecast today rain so we are doing our running about jobs so we won't have to when it heats up
@@sunnybeachlife5860 We are still in the dry season here in Mazatlán for another 5 - 6 weeks. Then we leave for four months - just as the rainy season begins.😉😊💓

Love your videos. We've been coming to sunny beach for years. Love your up dates. We're staying in harmony suites grand resort hotel. There's a restaurant out main road called REAL. Deserve a mention. Great food and drink. Very reasonable. Typically Bulgarian. Also here Khans tent has become expensive. Any other excursions that are more reasonable. We loved Gerana Village last year, suppose it's similar to the tent. We all have a fave local place, good prices and lovely people.

Coming to sunny beach in early September for the first time staying at hotel kuban. I've travelled to bulgaria many times but only sofia so looking forward to sampling the other side. Hoping the weather will still be decent.....
Last couple of years September has been really good weather, hopefully the same again. We love Sofia , so different to the coast but lots here to explore and Burgas is a great city to visit

Temperature here same as UK but you get burned here fast with the wind, lots of red people walking about looking forward to next weekend when lots is opening at last

You can get a revolut card and use that to take cash out as well, seems most popular and secure way then you taking cash when you need it.

It starts in a week or so, they run late till midnight. They are at the turnarounds all the time, run very often in the season caries due to numbers using them.

Good position, about 10 minutes walk to the beach but in an area with lots of restaurants and great bars. We were out last night at the iglika bar and iris restaurant not far from the hotel
Lots open between 17 to 19 may but it's fully open with aquaparks, funfairs on 23 may as schools break up

We’ve only got one Fish & Chips shop here in town that I know of. I tried it once and I now know what it would be like to chew on a wet towel. I’ll be back in Sunny Beach not very long from now and I wonder if you can recommend something. Sit-down or stand-up doesn’t matter. Preferably near Flower Street but I’ll walk a mile if that’s what it takes to get a real English-style Fish & Chips no matter what language the newspaper is printed in. Thank you in advance. 😊
It's not English food here , the main recommendations for fish and chips like Hawaii are not open yet. The English have been a minority for a few years but this year more are coming. Personally we prefer the local food to that back in the UK. I eat my fish with heads on now

Hello can you tell me if the grand hotel as been refurbished. We booked it last year but the reviews don't look great.

Yes at the back of the resort not far from Flower Street. There is a bigger one at Nessebar just 2 miles away. They both run free shuttle buses around the resort. There is a smaller one if you have young children called Pirates of the Caribbean at the South end on the Kotva Hotel.
Can you do a video showing where lafloor restaurant coming over on the 13th July and it my 1st wedding anniversary on the 15th and was looking for sumwhere nice to go and eat thank hope to meet u both when i come over in July

We drove it while filming, it's dead there at present, Anderson 10 days we will be filming up there but it's in lots of videos we did last summer

Good morning, lovely couple. Fibank has good exchange rates, because it is an older bank. The euro introduction is very likely to be postponed in Bulgaria. One wonders how this country is still working with 5 elections in 4 years. We are fed up of voting 🤐 Chao chao and have a gr8 weekend 🤠

Oh by the way I watced I couple of videos of Polish people in Suny beach ...Most of the video is with negative approach.Wondering why if British people and people on that age can find it nice and gorgeous,some Polish people talk that shi*?Probably jealousy that they don't have developed sea side? Or thinking that they are better?
I have seen some of this. Culture from every country is different but they won't post long as people will switch off.
Well UK is the 5 th.economy in the world.UK is Big.UK people don't sey anything bad but Polish ,why Polish dudes?And that's EU Poland and Bulgaria are both members.
