Bulgaria. April , Sunny Beach gets ready for 2024 season!

- We get to April and work has started on preparing the actual beach for the thousands of tourists arriving shortly for a holiday on the black Sea. We live here but are also looking forward to the summer in the highly exciting biggest Black Sea resort. We walk beyond the hotels on the front to show apartment complexes, shops and restaurants to be found in more quieter areas.
I'm coming to sunny beach for a week at the end of may, cant wait, it looks great!!
Just getting to full season then, will be busy.
Looking forward to returning to ivana palace in August second time fantastic hotel amazing staff. First time to sunny beech and Bulgaria very impressed did lots of trips around bulgeria and we found friends across the road from the hotel was good choice of food and reasonable price as well and the heat amazing 😁
We liked it so much we bought our apartment second visit. There is just something about the place and People
A great hotel, but last time I was there I had the worst food poisoning ever.

Wonderful video on the apartments, resorts and restaurants available on the north side of Sunny Beach, which is where we stayed for a month last year. I do miss going out to the Lira Pub for lunch or dinner - excellent food and service there at reasonable prices. Keep up the good work on your videos guys and we enjoy them immensely!😊❤

Walking about chatting to bar owners and people we know this afternoon, very warm and sunny. Lots of work going on now getting ready to open so should be good for your stay.

Sunny Beach has hotels for all budgets and for all nationalities ! I have translated and read all the comments, some of them being malicious, the Carcotians should not go to the Black Sea, there is also room for the North Sea, Bulgarian is a Slavonic language, so Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, etc. they feel good here - like 251
Certainly those with a close language get on well but it's hard to learn bulgaria. having a different alphabet. I don't go on the Facebook groups nowadays as there are many comments being made I don't agree with.

Cheers me up watching your videos,especially with the blue skies,cantcwait to go to Nessebar at end of July,we are staying at Hotel Mirage there,we prefer the history of the place and cant wait to see old Nessebar,they have beautiful buildings there,we will probably take a bus into Sunny Beach to have a look around
We love the old town, interesting little shops then a seafood dinner looking at the sea
I was there in June last year beautiful 0lace and lots of little beaches including the main beach...also visit Ravda 😊

Jedno czego nie rozumiem to dlaczego jest tak pusto nad morzem i sklepy budki zabite deskami jak by była wojna.
W Polsce to nie do pomyślenia aby był taki syf bród nad morzem i wszystko zabite deskami.
W Polsce nad morzem ludzie żyją mieszkają , chodzą po ulicach i plaży a wszystko otwarte cały rok .

You are in the wrong place at the wrong time for a holiday feeel, go up to Burgas or to Varna the places are busy all year. This is a holiday resort only, just for the summer season, we filmed it in winter showing all closed of course. In UK there are busy coastal residential towns but also resorts that are empty out of season. I am looking at the sea in Burgas now, oddly raining but everything is open with people about.

Roughly 25 mins ambling . It's not too bad as you can take the mini train either there or back. Lots of great places before you get to flower street. Latest video out today we walk from the imperial back away from the front. Walking straight back, past Lidl you can go to the honey museum and meet lots of bees, really interesting and different, we filmed it last summer.
Mid 20s in April wow lol I'm here 20 of may for 6 nights so hopefully treated to a bit of sun? Wow 23 in april

Weather is ok in the 20's. And you can lay and get a tan. Not everything is running in the outer areas of the resort but central around flower street and the front will be fine

Please could you do an update to what is happening behind Laguna Park, there was a buliding there , but don;t know if it was going to be a hotel
It's exactly the same, a big part built hotel, they have started on a couple of abandoned projects, let's hope they do something with this .
Hello! We often watch your RUclips channel. We are monitoring the situation on Sunny Beach. We read that there will be a big renovation of the street near the Kuban Hotel. Has the renovation started? Will you have a video about this?
It has been in a couple of videos last two months. The work is nearing completion so will be filming when all the fencing is down not far off as they have put some new trees in this week.

Don't know what they are doing. There are piles materials outside many hotels now.
It's nice to see everything getting prepared all ready for the start of tge season. Just wondering if there is a Chinese restaurant you would recommend within the vicinity of the Belle Vue x
Not far, there is one at the Barcello Mall about a 5 minute walk

Hi, do they expect even busier season now than last year there? Some flights have already started coming in since this April began.
There are extra flights from Germany and Poland. Jet 2 have over 40% more holidays here this year. Easter here is first weekend in may , not April so that's encouraging more to open start of may.

We stayed one summer at the Ivana Palace, just across the road from Friends where we ordered a baked potato one afternoon. Very disappointing. I don’t know anything about the rest of their menu but after that we vowed never to eat there again. The hotel itself looks nice as far as we could tell. There seemed to be a lot of Russians stopping there. The Ivana Palace was fine enough. It’s quite a distance from the centre but a well-stocked Aldo’s is not far away and the northern line of the SBT mini train is just beyond it along the waterfront. NOTE! If you’re getting on in years as I am at 77, (with a fragile back) try not to sit near the tail of the train. If you end up in the last carriage you may just as well pump yourself with pain-killers and take an ambulance into town. The best spot is at the front, particularly when the train is laden with passengers that serve to soften the jolt. The train runs on a live axle, no springs whatsoever. Anyway, it’s April! It won’t be long now! ❤ 😍
I hate the train, we filmed it last year and was a hard and bumpy ride. They don't really go big on potatoes here. We have a few in the garden as expensive compared to the UK. The Ivana is a basic not expensive hotel, we would not eat in a hotel here but out as much better. Hope you enjoyed the video.
@@sunnybeachlife5860 I did enjoy the video very much. Thank you! The mini train is rough to be sure but it is tolerable if you sit up front when it is fully laden with passengers. Under those conditions it is fairly comfortable and can be taken from up at the north end right down to the Nessebar windmill by changing twice along the way. But no one with a dodgy spine should use it under any other circumstance. I agree about the restaurants. You’re spoilt for choice! ❤
Honestly I can't stand heat 😂if its above 21 its good enough for me when its above 30 its too hot. Go early season less people

Yes, the colours of the flag are a salad but would not say that on video of course. Hopefully good, they have lots of bookings but maybe we have no flight problems this year .

Struggle getting English words out sometimes but we do try the odd bit of Bulgarian. Hopefully people do not take it too seriously as it's only a hobby for us and a bit of fun .

Can you tell me what the weather's like mid June please and does it get busy
Normally pretty good but we get the odd thunderstorm due to the heat. You will struggle to walk with others in the center it's a mass of people at night. Look back at my videos from last year to see.
