Ipanema 5Am Caipirinha Overdose

I team up with Liza Carbe And JP Durand of INCENDIO and CARBE AND DURAND to do my take on bossanova and samba! I've always loved the music of Jobim and Gilberto and so many other from Brazil who specialize in this music. I wanted to do my own take on it, incorporating modern styles of arranging/recording and mixing. We've put out 2 different versions. In this version, Caipirinha Overdose, imagine yourself walking Ipanema Beach at 5am, after a long night in the clubs. It was hot and sensual but now the beach is cool and the night air refreshing. You can still hear the music pouring out of the clubs and floating off to sea. Lisa Carbe on bass, JP Durand guitars, Don Markese Sax, Ed Martel keyboards, Scooter keyboards and all the rest.
