Exploring Hong Kong's Abandoned Hospital //Part1

Hong Kong Central Hospital (Chinese: 港中醫院) was a non-profit, general private hospital in Hong Kong Island
For 46 years HKCH services include a large number of specialties which cover a broad area of medicine. It also performed outpatient procedures and surgery. The medical facility provided low-cost health services to Hongkongers who would struggle to afford private care elsewhere.
There were approximately, 6,000 abortions (according to the source) performed every year, making it the largest provider of childbirth terminations in the city.
Although the church denied suggestions the abortion services were part of the motive for the redevelopment, the hospital did expose the inadequacy of pregnancy termination services and sex education in the city.
Sad thing after many years of services the court ruling ordered them to shut their doors, they had to sell most of the medical equipment. What they could not sell now lies scattered across the dark vacant spaces of the building, eroding silently in desolation. The hospital is unguarded so some people vandalized the place, they broke everything and the place now is more messy, creepy hunted and desolate
