Ron Howard is one of the most down to earth level headed people to ever come out of Television and Motion Pictures. I hope he realizes how admired and loved he is. For my generation, he will always be that bright eyed Opie working opposite Andy Griffith. A truly remarkable person.
I Would Love To Meet Ron Howard Someday Since He’s One of My Favorite Film Directors and I’ve Seen Some of His Films Mostly “Backdraft” and “Parenthood” Along With “The Grinch”!
Great choice of interviewee and a great interview! I’m happy to have something in common w Ron Howard. He mentioned he played on the “B” basketball team at John Burroughs HS in Burbank. I played on the “B” team at Dorsey HS in inner-city L.A. Our teams did not schedule each other. But that season remains as a cherished HS memory. Opie is a fellow baller!!!
Just loved Ron Howard's work! Watching him on tv was a huge part of my life...from The Andy Griffith show to Happy Days! Then with the movies he directed on the big screen! Still can't believe he's gone now.....RIP Ron Howard 🙏
I'm not a sport guy, at all. But these shows, and show like it, are great for seeing celebrities as the people they really are. The worship of celebrity is just out of control, but this show is breath of fresh air.
in the first season of m.a.sh ron howard played an underage marine that was brought to the hospital. the episode was called,"sometimes you hear the bullet." the main theme was a childhood friend of captain pierce was writing a book and he ended up getting killed. pierce turned ron howards's character into the military police saying he was going to stop one young soldier from getting killed or wounded. that episode was the episode of of the show that really helped it take off of being an iconic show.
I loved his directing of the ending to Far And Away. Nicole Kidman's acting DAMN NEAR made me cry, which is sometimes just as powerful. It made me really appreciate him as a director.
nice interview, kind of guy you can listen to for hours. so easy-going, unpretentious, and "normal," unlike most of Hollywood. (side note: when he says "It was the 80s" uh Ron, Happy Days was mostly in the 70s, the shows worth watching at least)
If you want to know what someone sounds like who is confident in who they are and what they do it's all in this interview. No making stuff up. Nothing that sounds like BS. No esoteric musings.
BTW Ron, Happy Days was the 70s not the 80s but The question I would ask him is, what's it like to be able to see yourself on TV at any given time of the day at various ages of your life when most people only have pictures of themselves when they were younger.
The script is great and explains a lot of the real life past events, something that probably did not practically happen I guess. Better then the original.
Mr. Ron Howard, Have we met? ARe you following me for some reason? And what time were we together? And who is Ya Ya? Shoud I change my name to Maria Howard?
Who is cat? What are you doing? Are you making a new film? Is your son directing? Is he folling in your footsteps? Does he visit the farm too? Are the cows and goats scared he is going to beat them too?

Patrick you dope. How do you leave out 'The Shootist' ? Great flick with an all star cast. Not to mention it was John Wayne's last movie.
Great person

Happy Days ran from January 1974 well into the 80s. It's his memory, not yours 😂😂😂😂
Happy Days went off the air in 1984.

The story behind the known story is what Ron Howard does best. He's made a career out of telling those stories. That's the journalist in him.
I just wanted to ask you something about Ron, does he believe in ghosts like me?
Mr. Howar My name is Mahria I have zero experience in acting what do you suggest?
