If I were given the chance to meet him, I could listen to Ron talk and talk all day. He seems like such a down-to-earth and very wise guy. :-)

Ron Howard is so great. I love that his parents did it the right way.

If you go to 27:00 minutes in, there is this beautiful moment where Ron learns about different kinds of people. Those who seem the most strange and wonderful, give a gift, and they don't have any care or thought or need to its application. That's left up to others. In a sense, it's a kind of shamanic thing. I just found this so beautiful and true.

It's interesting to hear Ron Howard talk about the Andy Griffith show to an audience who isn't familiar with it. Because to me and a lot of Americans of a certain generation, he will first & foremost always be Opie.

Very informative piece. Thanks for the insight into your life with films. Would love to see you attempt a documentary on Ronald Reagan's iconic life. There is so much there, to include how he began, what he accomplished, how he was received, and his tragic ending with alzheimers. His funeral and memorial and how it affected the entire world has become an everlasting memory too. Please consider it.

15:10 I think Ron Howard is fibbing: by the time of Apollo 13 Tom Hanks had already won an academy award for Philadelphia in a dramatic role. Im pretty sure his reputation as just a comedian was gone at that point

Great stuff but the annotations are an annoying distraction - couldn't these be put at the end? Yes - I know you can turn them off but that's distracting also
