It felt like he was jealous of Spade or something? Or is he just like that with all his guests, because I really want to see it when Seinfeld deconstructed his joke--see this guy get a taste of his own medicine. How rude!

Dan needs to let the guest talk and be funny. I can’t stand hosts that try to make interviews about them instead of the guest. Larry King does that...constantly interrupts...constant shots of them reacting to what the guest says

In my limited experience doing shows where Robin Williams was also on the lineup, he wasn't always on. Hung out with him a bit backstage at a show in Marin and another at UCB in Hollywood and he was really kind, quiet, took an interest in talking to a no-name like me. Same with Gilber Godfried. Very quiet gentle. Almost like they were storing their energy for the stage.
What does Dan Patrick want? Comedians that are good don't tell jokes they tell stories that are funny. I thought David Spade was hilarious. I would imagine Dan Patrick likes garbage like morning zoo or wacky unfunny morning radio show bits that suck the life out of people.
