  • Photographer, astronomer, or just star enthusiast, finding a dark sky to get the most out of your night sky viewing applies to all of us and is a little harder than you think. follow these three simple steps and feast your eyes on a sky full of stars, constellations, and galaxies. Here are the three websites I use:
Moon Giant (to find out the fullness of the moon)
    www.moongiant....
Time and Date (to find out the moon rise and set times)
    www.timeanddat...
Dark Site Finder (to find the least light polluted areas near you)
    darksitefinder...

Love your videos. I learn so much. Side note, if you haven’t been, highly recommend Chaco Canyon in New Mexico. My husband and I didn’t travel there for the dark skies (it is a Dark Sky park), we went to explore the amazing Anasazi ruins. The dark sky was a tremendous added bonus!

Great video and such high quality. But I live in the suburbs of Chicago and the sky is so light polluted here is disgusting but I have in fact seen multiple satellites moving across the sky and it was pretty cool
