One of the all time great wild card games. Legends on both sides, just an remarkable final minutes of this game. The Rice non fumble thankfully would be the last controversy before instant replay returned and created an entire set of new ones.
As a packers fan as much as it hurts watching the Jerry Rice fumble “non fumble” this was still an all time great game and packers playing prevent defense that whole final drive prevented them from winning great play by Steve and T.O
Prevented them from winning? They caused what should have been a game winning fumble. They dropped a game winning Int a few plays later. Ultimately they forced SF into one play from the 28 yard line. The defense worked exactly as it should have. Put them at a 95+% for the final play of the game.
