I studied dance for years and years... classical ballet, jazz, tap and so on. I can tell you THIS girl is amazing! One of the best dancers I have ever seen.
She has excellent technique and great physique (posture). Yes, the choreography may be considered strange to a lot of people, but I believe it has a unique quirky essence that keeps people's attention on her. It was a mixture of ballet, jazz, modern dance, I think there was some lyrical dancing in there, and a bit of her own moves. Overall, I think she is a great dancer.

I agree. She is an AMAZING dancer: clean and controlled leg extensions, crisp movements and executions, and more. But, in my contemporary class, we use slower and songs with dark tempos and deep sounds too capture the style of dance. But hopefully the judges saw past that and judged by the movement, not the music. -from a dancer

Recommend for those that dislike the music to listen to Sakura, a Japanese folk song, as opposed to the track for this dance. It doesn't quite sync up to her movements as well as the original song probably did, but it sounds more authentic than the one we here on this video. Hope this helps! She is great and the performance absolutely captivating. All the thumps down are probably dancers who are jelous for the attention she gets and don´t agree with the video title. And they might see tiny flaws in the performance and have "better" cheographies. There is always more fluid and more expression and more "wow" somewhere. Get over yourselves! I love her!

It's nice to see ballet being used with modern music. A lot of unusual movements that I haven't seen before and thought the dance flowed very well..
Without the music of the dance we cannot see the real abilities of this woman.
