I took heavy armor for my light cleric and use a shield for AC 19 with splintmail... Combined with Warding Flare and WIS 20 (+5), he is a total beast.... one of my favorite characters I ever played...
Shining a laser pointer in someones eyes to give disadvantage. Now I have to bring a laser pointer to my d&d games and say pew pew whenever I use warding Flare.
Can’t wait to play this domain in my quest to play them all (or most). I’ll probably play nature or knowledge in between this and my current tempest, just to break up the domains that seem more damage based. I’ll probably go variant human with this one, since fire resistance is relatively common so I’ll want the extra feat to grab elemental adept and war caster by level 4. Thanks for reminding me about corona of light! I ignore high level abilities lol
My next character I’ll be playing is a halfling light cleric. The interesting part of it is it’s for a curse of Strahd game and his background is haunted one

Far and away the best cleric subclass if you want to be a blaster.

I just started playing dnd and my first character is a Hill Dwarf Light Cleric. It's a lot of fun to play!

Happy New year! Yeah i can get a monk series up this year, My next class is going to Artificer since its new, but I can likely tackle monk after that!
