- I have started to check out some of Southern Lebanon and this is actually my 2nd time in Sour. I went briefly in 2021, but wanted to come back and film a video of this place as I explored around. This video shows a few areas we checked out in Sour, but let me tell you there is so much more to see. In this video, I am exploring with my friends Fouad, Mabelle, Maria and Will. We share our hotel accommodation, our dinner, a visit to the ruins and we even drove a bit further south in Lebanon to explore a very well known place. The hotel is lovely, the guests are like neighbors, and I love their free snacks, lol!
I really want to go back 2,000 years to see that palace, maybe the Lebanese government can consider building another palace like it, it must be very grand!

You should make another visit to Sour!
There is other than the historical site you were at. You visited the island side of the roman ruins there is also the land side where the arc of triumph and hippodrome, there you can see even more and more. Btw and just for the info, sour was an island, and when alexander the great surrounded the city, a bridge was constructed during the years the island was attached to the land. Also you should get to the longest sand beach in Lebanon and i think the eastern coast of the middle east which is also in sour, and the turtle reserve too. Moreover you should visit Asamina Hotel, its one if the best there! I’ve been there many times, and each time i go to Asamina, they’re the best and most welcoming people there!

@@worldnomac they are many hamams still one is working it is hamam El abd it's very beautiful you find it in the old sooks and there is Khan saboon it's also very beautiful
And in Al mina you can find old train station you can also find island abd wahab you can go there through a bridge
And eat moghrabiye in the old sooks

The whole place where you stayed & visited is rich in historical & holy things .. I loved your hotel Mac.. so nice ... those small roads & old buildings ... WOW Sour ruins are mesmerizing... I love to see ancient places has lots of stories thousands of years... that Holy place and the cave where Mother Mary & JESUS stayed at was amazing ... thanks for sharing... am so happy to see it

Tyre (Sur) is in my opinion the most historic and interesting city in Lebanon. I’ve been there a couple times. There are a couple historic sites. I can’t wait to go back. Interesting fact, Sur used to be an island before Alexander the Great invaded. He built a land bridge to take the castle and it’s lasted all this time due to natural build up.
You must have an amazing time during your visit😊 Hoping you can visit again a lot sooner.
