    First off there's bugger all clever about my lazy ace cutting with breathered aces :D . Second, yes it's O'Keefes for the hand lotion, I have bone dry fingers, this stuff moistens them up without being sticky or getting anything on the cards, sinks in fast, and lasts a gig. Great stuff.

    Just wanted to say thanks, I bought your first coin academy, you’ve now made me love coin magic, not knocking Eric Jones and the metal series, he’s a master but the first routine he teaches is a coins across using a lot of classic palm even classic palming 2 coins and making them drop separately, and the Han ping chien which is very timing dependant, I have sweaty hands, since I couldn’t master this first routine I didn’t continue. So thank you for starting with routines that don’t solely rely on the classic palm and making me love coin magic, I’ve already performed the first routine you taught several times! You deserve the awards you’ve received mate 👍🏻

    I tip my hat to you Craig you have made me a better performer and have reinspired my love for certain magic. The one question which I would love to see its own video is an in depth look at equivoque and my question about it is how to really make it near invisible to a spectator or if there are any books that really go into the fundamentals of it.

      Out of curiosity, what grade would give your DL. That move frustrates me the most. Trying to make it look like NOT a move.

    • @DavidM-lj5yv
      @DavidM-lj5yv 2 года назад

      @@markkennedy5955 Hi Mark, I have been a Hobbyist for 14-15 months now where I practice 90% card sleights and 10% coin sleights both at the office and after work at home. I always have a deck of cards around and probably do over 100 DL's a day just to practice. Rather than trying to grade my DL, I'll say that In all performances I have ever done for friends, family, and random waiters at restaurants!! over the past year-- I have only been caught one time where the card split by 1mm at the top-- when the waiter saw that-- I honestly felt like my world had come crashing down!!-- he literally said the word "double" to me!!!. But other than that one time-- nobody has ever thought/saw that I was turning over 2 cards. I slightly changed my DL a month ago-- where now I put a bit more "flex" in the card/s w a tad more downward pressure w my thumb when turning over-- I learned that from watching Craig. At first I could not understand how the cards could just fall without separating-- but adding just a bit of "flex" into the card/s w my thumb when turning over really helps the cards stay together. for me.

    • @markkennedy5955
      @markkennedy5955 2 года назад

      @@DavidM-lj5yv that’s my biggest fear with the DL, someone calling me out. A lot of the teachings show you turning the card over like a book. But who in real life turns a card over like that. I don’t think I’ll ever be happy with it so I’ll just avoid it altogether.

    • @DavidM-lj5yv
      @DavidM-lj5yv 2 года назад

      @@markkennedy5955 Mark-- another option that I sometimes do is just pick up 2 cards from the top of the deck-- riffle up the back to get 2-- and pick up and show them as one to the spec-- flex the cards out a bit w my finger so they appear as one-- and after show the card/s then casually place, or even drop, back on top of the deck-- I do that sometimes and can be quite fooling-- different option to the classic DL that works well for me. I will say that 99% of time I just do a DL-- but , to your point, just taking off the "top" card and showing it is a more natural action.

    Hello Craig Petty, I dont know if you have already made a video on this or not but in any case I have a question : what do you think about what we call Bizarre Magic ? I prefer to call this 'storytelling' or 'fantasy' magic since I dont understand where the Bizarre wordings really means. I follow work by Jamie Daws and Eugene Burger but also French/Belgian magician Antoine Salembier and Christian Chelman just to name those few. As you may expect, I am into this kind of magic but not in the 'devil' or ' dark' magic aspect of it but rather into storytelling and theatrical magic. I was just wandering what do you think about this type of magic ? Thanks again.

    Me again. I’ve had an idea for a video. I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on “uplevelling” tricks.
    One of the things I admired about Paul Daniels is that he could take any trick (including tricks that most magicians had forgotten about or dismissed) and make them incredibly powerful by merely adding a couple of words or an interesting sentence to his presentation.
    Could you do a video where you get Ryland to give you a beginners trick (REAL beginners trick such as bendy pen, linking paperclips etc) and then gives you ten minutes or so to give it an interesting twist in the patter or engaging presentation etc.

    Hey Craig what's up, one of the questions I asked last week was,
    what are your thoughts on performing matrix coins and other variations using css coins and using the expanded shell for the routine. Does it enhance the trick in any way, make the trick easier and is using more than one gimmicked coin helpful? I'm not really a magician but have been really into magic off and on for more than 10 years however if there is one routine I want to absolutely master more than anything it's matrix coins as it's so visual and absolutely blows my socks off with how talented some of these people are on RUclips doing flash matrix, backfire matrix ect.
    Sorry for the long question/statement but talking to you really does a whole lot for me more than you will ever know and I'm glad you keep in touch with your viewers on a constant basis that not a whole lot of people do so thanks craig. Appreciate it man

      Craig does not need anyone to come in here to defend him but a few things to point out are he quit rants months ago. What you hear about Eggink are reviews which are opinions of his based on his experience and observations. You can agree or disagree and that is your right 100%. His reputation of being candid has given him a following of others that trust his opinions. Do you really think he is annoyed Eggink doesn't react to his opinions? Is it more likely that Eggink ignores Craig because his voice can reach more than most and if he reacted he would instantly get shit shoved down his throat from the community. If he was to react to anyone it should be the hundreds or even thousands of people who have spent hard earned money on items that they thought were one thing by watching a less than honest trailer that turned out being something different or of poor quality. Eggink releases, does trailer, hits the forums at launch then goes silent. It's his M.O. overytime lately. It's alo the M.O. of most scammers.
