Setup Audio on Mixtrack Pro

- How to set up your Mixtrack Pro out of the box and get the audio working correctly. My laptop died on me recently (thus no videos as of late) I re-installed Windows 7 (make sure you always have backups and backups of backups) and this is me getting things back in-order, if you have questions or would like to see something else, let me know.

For everyone wondering, you CANNOT use your computer's audio and the headphone jack on the MixTrack Pro at the same time. If you want to use the I/O on the MixTrack Pro you must connect speakers to the back of it and a headset into the front. It's all or nothing.

I think i can help. Choose advanced config under the sound setup tab. Press + so you have two boxes in there. The first box=
inputs/Outputs = Master
Soundcard = Computers Master Output
Channels = 1&2
The second box:
Inputs/Outputs = Headphones
Soundcard = Mixtrack Pro
Channels = 3&4
HIt apply and then done. Hope this will help
@CROW88WEED using the RCA's in the back, go to radio shack or amazon and get the right converters or plugs they are all out there
yes you can bro... go into config... sound setup... sound card to "Numark" .. on "Outputs", click and go to "Advanced config"... there you will see Master ... Primary Sound Driver.. Output 1&2.. Under it click the "+" ...click the arrow, select headphones.. next box, select Speakers(etc)... last box Output 3&4... apply, Ok and there you have it..

@DJSproductions89 it can be frustrating, sometimes you just have to stick with it and get it figured out, Also check your settings and/or try Serato Intro

yes you can drag and drop them into another folder, or straight from itunes
I got a pc with a m-audio audiophile 2496 pci soundcard built in in my computer, and when I plugged in my mixtrack pro I don't get any sound of anything on my computer exept for my fl studio which I'm using to produce with. I also a a JJLabs AS602A which controlls my volym on my speakers (KRK Rokit G5) and my headphones (AKG K240) when I bought this machine it came with Traktor LE, and when I open traktor I can't get any sound and the skin don't look like my machine. please help a brother out.
i got some problems... why when im trying to put songs on beat on my headphones can also be heard in the speakers!!??? this really pissed me off i need a quick help because im starting to DJ and this is a big problem for me !!! EXAMPLE: when i put the cue mix in CUE everything sounds in cue the headphones and the speakers also :@ please help
But you can use the mixer like any other mixer, right? What I mean is, it also works just fine if you don't plug in a headset and speakers to the back, thus playing the sound straight from your computer speakers. Correct?
I was having a problem earlier I bought a used one but after watching this it worked
why when im trying to cue my songs into beat the exact action i make it can be hear on the speakers ?? this really piss me off i dont understand can you help me ?? for example like when im putting the cue mix in CUE what supposes to only be hear at the headphones also sounds on the speakers :@

can anyone help? im using virtual dj pro and theres only sound coming from the headphones and not from the speakers or the laptop im using a RCA red and white to 3.5,mm cable and nothings working, changed it to every setting going and nothing PLEASE HELP!
Huge long shot, but my mixtrack is not being found. Only play button shows up, but nothing else loads. Any idea why?

@vanquish1414 I just found out in NEED to activate the Pro version and invest in the $50 to keep the upgrade. The pro version makes life a lot easier from a configuration standpoint. The pro software damn near rivals Serato and Itch.

So umm can i connect a 3,5 mm jack to the Mixtack? Because i have my Speakers with a 3,5 mm jack.
When I scratch on my Mixtrack Pro, I can't scratch backwards. Like...there' no noise. Also, when I have the soundcard set to Newmark, I get no sound what so ever.

I need help with Traktor 2. Changed software from VDJ and I cannot setup audio with Traktor. With VDJ it was simple I could use it through my headphones only if I wanted to.
How did you go on your virtual dj prog to all the setup , the one that came with my m ixtrack doesnot allow to do all that? do you know any way that i can go to the setup menu. Thanks
Could I plug head phones into the controller or mixer and then take regular computer speakers and plug those into the head phone out put on the computer? Have sound go to the head phones and out the speakers.
It worked for a while, but now all the lights are on all the time and it seems that virtual dj or tracktor pro doesn't recognize the controller any more, don't know what to do....
If you can't connect this to speakers, then you only hear it through heapdones, or can u use the laptop speakers as a speaker source while still cueing in your headphones?
i am new at this, and i'm thinking of buying the numark mixtrack pro. but i wonder if one song is playing on one deck and another song on the other, is it possible to get one song to the speakers and the other song to the headphones, without buying soundcards or anything other extras?

I have been looking everywhere! When I plugged in my controller the drivers "couldn't be found" so only the play/pause button lights up and ASIO4ALL V.2 can't find the audiocard in my Mixtrack Pro. As a result nothing is working. What can I do to fix it? Thanks alot!

Do the headphones need to be plugged into the Mixtrack Pro or can they be plugged into the pc?
I was thinking is their any way to connect the speakers from my radio to it so I can hear it from the speakers.
But you should be able to connect the output of the Mixdeck Pro to your computer's linein right? I tried this, but the input audio I get is delayed compared to what I hear in the headphones (no delay on directly connected speakers). Any way to adjust this delay?
any idea on setting up a mic? I would love to see how to record with a mic.. I don't have a clue on doing that..

i have a problem and i dont know how to get over it..please help me!! So, i bought the mitrack pro and i installed the cd driver in my pc..after that i connected the mixtrack pro on my pc and the first button lights turned in ,when i opened the vdj i wait some button lights to turned off like ( sync cue shutter and others) and some others to turned on (scratch keylock) but nothing happened what have to do so the mixtrack pro work ? please help me!! :)
Does anyone know why the mixtrack pro sound breaks up when it plays live? I notice little cracks/noises when I'm playing my music live. How can I fix this, as I have returned the mixtrack and received a new one and same problem. I think it has to do with the settings
