Carl Brown is a great teacher!
    1. No ego
    2. He teaches not too fast, but not too slow
    3. Never hear him trying to sell me Essential (worthless) Guitar Product #463
    4. If no one else has a lesson for the song you’re looking for, it’s probably bc Carl already did it! Solid work ethic. Thanks Carl. You’ve taught me a lot.

What I appreciate about Carl is #1. He always plays the song/riff lick through before "teaching" us anything about it. #2. He explains things at a nice level of skill. "Not too much/not too little". #3 He acts like a regular dude and not a "RUclips Star". #4 He can play the guitar as good as any of the other guys we all watch, but doesn't have to remind you with how awesome he is every other post.

I wanna see Carl Brown, Justin Guitar, Marty Schwartz, and Michael Lemmo (Norman’s rare guitars) all jam together on a live stream.

I'm loving these Famous Riffs lessons. They're a great complement to your very detailed song lessons. I know I'm not alone in appreciating all the great work you do. Thanks!

I’m glad you’re back didn’t think I’d see your channel again there’s no telling what you had to go through with RUclips to get it back. Good to see you again thank you for your hard work and all your lessons

Something I was looking for. Not power chords but some noodling around.

Amazing song Carl, can you make a tutorial of you finishing this whole song please, because you just did the intro

  • @brucebfd

You have a gift for making it simple... Even though it is very complicated to play the guitar..
By the way it would be nice to hear you just play the guitar sometime... Unfortunately I just don't have the time to search for it.. I will eventually

Is there another way to play the very last 3 notes of the intro, one with chords maybe? Thank you for the tutorial, it helped a lot!

Tyler Foster I have wondered about the same because the bass and drums really emphasize the little hook at the end (and within the song) when playing this on acoustic you can voice the D, and hammer and pull the bass note only with pinky on C. D C D.

This is sooo much harder than it sounds/looks AHH. I just cannot get that Bm7 lick right. I think my fingers are just so small it's always impossible to get the right pressure across all four middle strings while lifting up and using my pinky... same thing happens to me in Babe I'm Gonna Leave You except it's an F#7sus4 😭

Reverb, and a little bit of gain, for amplifier settings. Or fx peddles. :) I'd use the neck position pickups ,especially with a Fender Strat!)
