In the years since i made this, 4x BH and even maybe tran style or new tran style both seem better than twisty tbh Ore has a doc comparing all the recog styles
If possible, it would be awesome if you could make a list of all of your names like plate, river, etc. I really like that idea over the AOC method Edit: I just noticed you have them all written on the piece of paper in the video
Not sure how well you can see the list in the video, so here's my naming list for the EP recog z - a/a or cxc backpack - o/c h - o/o waterfall - a/a or oxc plate - c/o block - c/c river - a/a/ or cxo ooze - a/a or oxo floor - c/a dock - o/a dam - a/o table leg - a/c
@@GenTheSnail Thank you so much!! Im just starting to learn ZZLL, so far learned 5 or 6 sets, and this is going to be super helpful for recog. Maybe eventually I'll even learn ZBLL....
I use ZZ so I get ZBLL 100% of the time for LL. If you use CFOP then you'll only get it 12.5% of the time so its not nearly as worth it when you can just do some of the easiest OLLs into PLL. ZBLS isn't that great afaik but I haven't learned it so I don't really know. You can start learning ZBLL at any speed if you want to, as long as you understand that it's not necessarily going to be the most efficient way to improve. If you really want to have a go at it, I'd recommend starting learning the U set of ZBLL (72 algs).
@@GenTheSnail thanks, also is there a way to use any of the knowledge from cfop and pass it to zz? or like a way to orient edges to then use zbll? I'll start with the u set, thanks again :)
@mamba1072 ZZ has only 20 F2L cases, and CFOP. That 20 cases can be solve rotationless using only, "natural moves" (RUDL). Thats because F/F'/B/B' moves orient and missorient edges. "Ok, but, how can i use it on CFOP?" Every time you do a rotation, the edges change, because your R and L moves you be like F and B moves, that's why the others 21 cases on CFOP need rotations, wide and slice moves to be solved. So, if you just use CFOP, you have to do unnatural moves or rotations, if you want to force a cross on top, 1/8 times, the last slot and the top egdes will be oriented, so you can just insert normally (R U R'/U R U' R'). If it don't happen, you can use some tricks, i recommend you to learn ZBLS, just 16 cases. 8 for build pair, and 8 for the last slot (Like summer variation, i don't have a name for that case). Doing this, you can have a better knowledge of edge orientation, and decide which is better for you, ZZ or ZB. ZZ, you plan the cross and edge orientation at the same time, reduce the F2L cases from 41 to 20 rotationless, and 57 OLL cases to just the 7 cross cases. And ZB you start and solve F2L like CFOP, but, on the last slot you force a cross on top, using VHLS (a baby ZBLS set) or full ZBLS, about 300 algs to force edge orientation on the 41 F2L cases. I don't know if you really want to learn ZZ (Or if you already done) but, i would recommend it. You can do an very easy and fluid F2L and don't be upset because you have 100% of chance to get a cross on top, so COLL or ZBLL can be VERY WORTH IT, and F2L will be easier in everything, recognition, ergonomics, fluidity, even pseudoslotting is easier on ZZ. If the patterns just look like colours to you then by all means just recognize them based on the colours. The names are abstract of course but they do follow a logic for me. That logic might not work for you, so find what does! I set up the algs by doing an epll and then the inverse of the coll, as explained in the video.
Dude i understand you hard. And you telling fast, your voices low. Please fix these.Youren't telling enough, my opinion. You doing continoue next situation very fast. Please evaluate these...
Was looking around to see if this was considered viable or for psychopaths, this actually makes me sorta consider switching off of block/pattern recog

Is there a good playlist to learn L ZBLL? I'm learning U and T from Max Siauw but he doesn't have L playlist.
I would recommend learning from daniel egdal's zbll sheet -- it's pinned in the zms discord. i don't know of any videos though
Is it mathematically possible to recognize every single 1LLL case (in this case ZBLL) with only 2 sides and the top?
yes, thats what this video covers
yo man, do you thinks its worth learning full zbll(and zbls too)? and what times should I do to start? I'm close to being sub 20. nice video :D

also how do you do the set up to the algs?
