    I live a few mile away and often wander through the woodlands off peak times. It was constructed by the landowner in the 19th century to give work to local labour during difficult times but the owner did his research well. The cave inhabited a hermit at one point. I am not sure whether people use it for pagan dates these dates but once people gathered. There are some lovely little tracks throughout the woodland. Not heard of anything scary though : but if you venture deeper in the woods during late autumn you can see lots of fairy rings. Beautiful magical place.

    Great video! The intro almost made it look like it was somewhere in Belize. Then some to see it’s in Yorkshire. Really cool video and editing 👍

      I found a rock at Witton Park on one of my local walks and made the mistake of touching it
      Got bad luck right away...never touch anything 😂

      It’s just me who makes the videos and they take hours to do. There are a few eerie/scary/apparently haunted places I’ve done. Feel free to check them all out

    It's a good place to visit, shame that it's not a real temple though. Definitely worth seeing.

    Thanks! Cool place. Any info on who built it?

    • @RamblingWithRitchie
      @RamblingWithRitchie  Год назад

      To be fair the history on it is that it was built I think in the 1800s and was built to actually give people jobs. I had done my research but I can’t remember now. I think i mention it in the video though.
