I wish I could be as successful as you are with your business, but I'm having such a hard time trying to get it started. You've been such an inspiration to me, and anytime I feel like a failure with it, my hubby tells me to watch some of your vids lol. You always have the most beautiful soaps.
You should totally remake these for the 2019 year, but make the cupcake brown, and the piping green, the same gold ball, and go crazy with colored glitter. Christmas trees!
I wish I had half of the talent and passion that you have for making cupcake bath bombs! They always look like they turn out perfect in every video you make! 😍
I adore your channel! I was curious if there has ever been issues with using glitter especially larger pieces like trees snowflakes ect....does it ever scratch or irritate peoples' skin? Thanks!
You should make some that have just pine green tops, make star shaped gold toppers, and string pipe gold, red and silver to make "garland" and you'll have tinny-tiny Christmas trees!
That's clever with mixing the color into the oils before adding lye, I wonder if there's a downside to doing that, otherwise why not do it all the time? These are, as always, lovely.
hey, love the cupcakes but i was wondering if at 70 degree temp, do yo make it go through gel phase or can they be left outside on the shelf to get hard?
OMG, you replied. I feel super special. hahah! I did the experiment last night at 85 degrees and they came out soft and clean but the colors are too dull. I put the same recipe in a wooden loaf and the same colors were brilliant. Your colors are so beautiful so i am assuming you are using more color?
Sure you may! Yeah, gel phase makes that color pop and if you use a lot of white oils, it tends to be less vibrant. Even if I use a load of color, if my oils are more than 60% white and it doesn't gel, they are still paler than I wish.
Did you have to spray the tops of the cupcakes with rubbing alcohol before you plopped the gold balls on top? How do they stay adhered to the frosting if turned upside down? Beautiful soap cupcakes. Love the tri color frosting.
i just have found your videos...all i can say is amazing..i am just now a beginner using melt and pour which i love,,,my question is when you made these cupcakes do you take the cupcake liner off before you sell them or does it go with the cupcake??? thanks when you have the time to answer...love all the videos,,very informative,,,
Love your soap! They're so cute! I've been working on some soap batches and I measure everything out but my fragrance never seems to last through the first use after their all cured, I was wondering if you could tell me why?
I love your soaps. You are such an inspiration to beginner soap makers like me. The only problem is I want to make awesome stuff like you do, not just go through the long learning process, lol. Are your little trees and snowflakes sugar decorations?
I love your soaps, but i have a cuestion for you, what kind of colors you have used in this particular soaps? because they looks sooooooooo pretty!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Omg this are sooooo pretty 😍😍😍😍😍 I really want to make one. So I wanted to know, it's the soap that you use to make the "frosting" part, is it pretty much leftover soap batter? So like I could just use any regular soap recipe and all I gotta do its just let it sit for s bit till it has the consistency and pipe? Thank u
khristalez Well, believe it or not, it is physically impossible to make soap without lye. Even bars of Dove or Ivory that you buy at the store have been made with sodium hydroxide. However, once the oils and lye solution go through what we call the "saponification" process, then you no longer have oils or lye present but a new chemical compound, one we call soap. :) Now, you can buy glycerin soap bases that you just heat, add scent and pour, but the base has been made with sodium hydroxide too. The short answer is no, because it's impossible. :D Thanks for such a good question!
Very nice..! How do I stay away from soda ashe for frosting? I always get that when temperature is low. When you "let it sit" for 20 minutes, was there anything that you need to keep in mind?
Hansmade Canada Mine is. I just spritz mine with 90% rubbing alcohol. Just keep stirring your batter every 5 minutes or so. If you have a quick heating batch, stir it more often. :)
Your voice was so quiet and then the music was so loud it made me jump! I'm not trying to be rude just letting you know! Btw these are super duper cute! (:
Delighted Moose Oh, no no! Thank you so much for your input and I agree with you. I didn't realize until the video was already published and I'm trying to learn and new editing software. i um...clearly need some practice! lol

Megan Schafer There is if the colors tend to accelerate trace. Otherwise I never have a problem. :)

You could also do Christmas trees using the same method with green soap
hey, love the cupcakes but i was wondering if at 70 degree temp, do yo make it go through gel phase or can they be left outside on the shelf to get hard?
Girlyglo Nope, no gel phase here. 70 is a touch low for me but my cupcakes always come out clean. :)

Katie could I ask why the cupcakes do not go thru gel phase? or any of the individual soaps... do they not go thru that gel phase?
Very very pretty 😊
Are those silicone cupcake molds? Where on earth did you find those? Please share:D
Hi Katy,
How do you prep your stuff the day before? Can you shed some light how you do that please? I am at a loss there.
Thanks,
Lori
Hello Katie, I have a question what was the total oil weight for 50 cupcakes? Thank you :)
Oksana Tnk It was around 100 ounces for the bottom and 108 ounces for the top. :)
Oh wow!!! Absolutely gorgeous!!! Are your embeds made with melt and pour? Could you share where you purchased the mould to create the embeds?
christine1962ful I have a video for how I make my soap ball embeds. :) Most are melt and pour but I do make a few cold process as well.
+Royalty Soaps which tutorials are melt and pour
christine1962ful do you have a channel? I have noticed you on a few other channels.
rose mcclain No. Just a YT account.

Super duper cute Katie!! Your red is perfect, may I ask where u purchase it? =)
Whipped Upp It's my own special mixture of three reds from various suppliers! Fancy a "Royal Red" video? :D
Royalty Soaps Yes please!
How do you insulate your cupcakes and your tall bars, I cant fathom wrapping them!
TingleySweet I never insulate anything and I just shrink wrap them in 6x6 bags. Easy peasy! :D
Royalty Soaps Would love to see a video of you shrink wrapping your cupcakes.
How much do you charge for one of these if they are a whole sale
do you make your own embeds or do u buy them
Are the cupcakes being poured into molds or paper?
Cassandra Morehouse Silicone cupcake liners! :)
Are you wearing Jamberry on your nails?
PLEASE MAKE THESE AGAIN
You lye solution seems SO small in comparison to the amount of oils you use!
Do you have any coupon codes for first time ordering?
I’ve always wondered if people rub these cupcakes on their bodies in the shower or just save them as decor.
Do you make any soaps with out lye in them?
khristalez Well, believe it or not, it is physically impossible to make soap without lye. Even bars of Dove or Ivory that you buy at the store have been made with sodium hydroxide. However, once the oils and lye solution go through what we call the "saponification" process, then you no longer have oils or lye present but a new chemical compound, one we call soap. :) Now, you can buy glycerin soap bases that you just heat, add scent and pour, but the base has been made with sodium hydroxide too. odd the audio on only this video is coming from only the left side of my headset o.o
Beylan Wimsatt I have also noticed that.
Same, it made me think my headphones were broken.
Getting no audio
Same 🤣
Do you water discount for your cupcake soap batter? Mine are still so sticky, 2 days later. If you're unmolding 24 hours later? Humm....more research.
Can you make something big hero 6 themed??
How do you make the soap piping
Very nice..! How do I stay away from soda ashe for frosting? I always get that when temperature is low. When you "let it sit" for 20 minutes, was there anything that you need to keep in mind?
Plus is ph same as normal cp soaps? I heard cp soap sitting on air won't become "soap" as the other ones.
Hansmade Canada Mine is. I just spritz mine with 90% rubbing alcohol. Just keep stirring your batter every 5 minutes or so. If you have a quick heating batch, stir it more often. :)
Very nice
the only disappointment i have in your videos is the fact that your delicious looking creations aren't edible lmao
Do you is american ?
Your voice was so quiet and then the music was so loud it made me jump!
I'm not trying to be rude just letting you know!
Btw these are super duper cute! (:
Delighted Moose Oh, no no! Thank you so much for your input and I agree with you. I didn't realize until the video was already published and I'm trying to learn and new editing software. i um...clearly need some practice! lol
Royalty Soaps You're welcome lol i'm sure you'll get the hang out it quickly (:
On only this video with headphones the audio is just on in one side.
Hunting through the comments to see if anyone was having the same problem as me!!!

So pretty
