Florida has a boating operation requirement. Other states do as well. See FWC safety course . I strongly recommend taking US Coast Guard Auxiliary course for both of you. USCG Captain license has days on water requirements. Have fun, be safe, be smart. Knowledge is power.

Thanks for sharing, I look forward to following along. Remember, with the AGM batteries. You only have about 50% usable total amp/hr capacity before the batteries are damaged. So knowing the Amp hours, will help you as you balance that use. If/When you switch to Lithium, you will need different chargers, as well as battery monitors. As lithium you are not able to manage the battery discharge like you are able to do so with the voltage. A victron BMV shunt would be very helpful, easy to install and program. What nav software/programs are you going to use?

Great questions and honest answers! The timing of everything sounds perfect...at least on paper! You guys clearly make a great team. If the timing works, my wife and I would love to buy you guys dinner and bring you any fun or necessary provisions somewhere along your route when you hit the Upper Chesapeake Bay in 2025.

Looking forward too following your journey! Do you have thrusters on the boat to help maneuver in tight quarters since only a single engine? Wishing you the Best.

Hey guys, great to get a synopsis of the different things you're having to do to get ready for your big trip. Would you mind going over the costs for these milestones? Registering the boat in Fla with a new name, insurance for your boat size and age, you mentioned getting officially registered with the USCG, any cost there? Thank you so much😀

Thst answers the generator question do consider the water maker carrying enough (drinking) water no board can become an issue.

There is something very strange going on with your channel. RUclips hasn’t been showing me your content so I tried to go directly to your channel and it doesn’t show up.
