      - At R4, we'll crochet the group (1sc, 1inc, 1sc) 6 times in total. That means (1sc, 1inc, 1sc), (1sc, 1inc, 1sc), (1sc, 1inc, 1sc), (1sc, 1inc, 1sc), (1sc, 1inc, 1sc), (1sc, 1inc, 1sc). We have 24sc for R4
      - On the other hand, we can understand it as follows:
      R3: (1sc, 1inc) x6 times
      R4: (2sc, 1inc) x6 times

    Hi there. First want to thank you for your great tutorial videos. They ate the best I could find. I do have one question here: what is the difference between crocheting in spiral and in rounds? I recently purchased a pattern which uses spiral. Can I change it to rounds accordingly?

    • @nhalen
      @nhalen  Год назад

      Hi Michellejia. At First, I'd like to thank you for your comment and your question ❤
      In the Amigurumi crochet, we have 2 ways: spiral crochet and closing a round with a slip stitch.
      - Spirals crochet: we will continuously crochet stitches, from round to round.
      - Closing a round: the slip stitch is used at the end of a round of crochet to join your last stitch to the first.
      You can refer to both methods in this video: ruclips.net/video/s5zVSZGiT0I/видео.html
      Both methods work fine. However, if you make products that change color a lot, I recommend you do method 2 - Closing a round

      I don't follow this one either. R3 is 18 total. R4 should according to your instructions here in the chat lead to 24 total. Instead I end up making 27 in total by doing 1sc,1inc in R4. What am I doing wrong?

    • @nhalen
      @nhalen  Год назад

      @@Pathrissia Hi, i'm not sure but i think the problem you are having is the number of repetition of (2sc, 1inc) .
      If you start round 4 with 1sc, 1inc, then the group (2sc, 1inc) we only repeat 5 times, if you repeat it 6 times, we will multiply the number of stitches.

      I think the cause of the blur may be because your network internet is unstable. You can go to Settings -> Quality and select 1080p to have a more stable video quality.
      And here is the pattern for R11-->R19:
