It's like a very light greyish color. For the outer part that you were pointing at I would paint the darker blackish color you have already in spots then the ribbing around the impulse crystal I'd paint a slightly darker grey than what you have for your base color of the model.
If you want to use more power, these LED filament strings from Aliexpress and others can also be run off 3 volts, though for the higher power consumption you might have to switch to a AA battery box from dollar store string lights.
