I was watchinf this trying to l e arn because as a new recruit, we just got our but then I realised midway(more like when I realised it was a white dress shirt, not blue) that I had to check if it was for AIR AIR cadets and not one from a different country. Whilst this is useful, it's not for certain squadrons.
a reef knot? please get real! tie the boots like your regular shoes. if you have to much lace to tuck, get smaller laces or properly tuck them in at the top
@@joeydepalmer4457 What Cadets are/were you in? Cause I can confirm that in the RCAC (Royal Canadian Air Cadets), you are required to tie although not a reef knot, but definitely the first step of a normal shoelace knot and tucking the rest of the laces into the “upper” of your boots.
@@Canadian-Asian-dude Air Cadets! Nothing but the best! What you just said makes more since. There are ways to get around that to get a proper bow, but we did that in the army (combat boots, scissors, and melted plastic on the ends)

no, air cadets requires you to do a reef knot
@@daringe853 None of my cadets would ever use, or for that matter be allowed to use, the reef note to tie their boots
